Not close to any metro station but still in the city centre. The food options in the lounge and breakfast is praiseworthy.

The hotel was clean and nice, the service was on point we had an issue with a door in our room but the hotel has been very responsive and the staff helped us to accommodate the best as they could. The breakfast was good! And the amenities on point! And what a view from my room! I highly recommend this place for your next stay in Nanjing!

It is an old 5 stars hotel (not well maintained)! The room quality was not good. We were a bit shocked to know that the bed in the room having a problem (the springbed was almost broken. Fortunately the hotel people was so nice that they changed our room with the new room. Cleaniless at the hotel was very poor that need to be improved especailly Sofitel Nanjing Galaxy Suning is under Accor group. The replacement room was a NON SMOKING room but we still can smell smoke since the curtain at the room was not cleaned well!!!

Great location and very professional service

The hotel overall is ok . They reacted quickly to an issue that we complained about.

First time at the hotel and it was a good spot in Nanjing near tourist spots. Overall good hotel.

Room: -floor carpet stains and musty smells; get worse when you off the AC. -furniture including the doors; scratched and worn out. -toilet smells (drainage) in the bathroom. Cannot sleep unless you completely close the bathroom (sliding door), not properly flushing -mold everywhere in the bathroom area General; old building. -restaurant facilities (buffet, table, chair, and floor) are old and damaged -cooks; not wear any gloves(bare hands) when they touch the vegetables at the noodle station for guest -associates gather to talk, laugh, and judge the outfits of guests at the Breakfast restaurant -no associate smile and greet even after the eye contact / watching and using phone even guest comes and standing in front. Only 1 associate at the FD is helpful, rest has no service mind and quality.

Room was warm - even after setting the AirCon temperature to as low as 19 degrees, room temperature remained between 26-27 degrees. The safe also could not be used, even after calling for receptionists’ help. However, while service as a whole was inconsistent, some of the service staff was very detailed and followed up with our concerns during our trip.

Dirty and dusty. At the breakfast area not cleaned under the table. Best view to the construction area.

Sofitel was very convenient and nice.

It is wonderful hotel with friendly receptionist and nice deco room. The breakfast and executive lounge foods very delicious. The location is in the centrum and near metro station. The room is quite big and with beautiful view. The indoor swim pool is big and clean. Everything's I met is good memory for me. I am sure I will come back when I visit Nanjing again.

It was a great experience! Staff here are friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Nanjing for a family or solo trip.

Always a good stay. Only one concern is the odour in the room what i assume is the sanitary system. I think the building is quite old and depreciation has taken its toll on infrastructure. Aside from this the lounge is great and the guest services manager is always obliging and very courteous every time I visit. Breakfast was noticeably better this time too. More condiments and food quality seemed fresher too.Many thanks.
