Tianfeng Hotel recensioner

The hotel facade may look old but it had been a very warm welcome by the staff and was a pleasant stay for us. The rooms were true to the pictures posted on Trip.com. Big thanks to Lobby Manager Deng Juan 邓娟 who was very attentive and helpful. Knowing that we didn't have a local number, she added me in WeChat so I may contact her if we need any assistance. She also helped coordinate with the kitchen for a slightly early breakfast when we had to check-out by 7am, which we really appreciated. Also, the housekeeper in-charge of our rooms ensured that we had sufficient bottled water during our stay. The hotel is also very close to shopping malls and many food options. I'm very glad to have chosen this hotel for our trip to Nanjing.

I asked the hotel to get a non-smoking room. The hotel staff was so friendly and helped me with my wish. A big plus point is that the hotel staff can speak english very well. I can only recommend to stay here at Tiafeng Hotel, especially as a foreigner. The location is great. Breakfast was amazing and the room clean and with a good smell! Great hotel,great location with very friendly staff… The room was very clean,The bed was super comfortable and HUGE…I’d definitely stay here again 💯

Good in general. The only negative aspect with my room is that I had a noise related to some pipes near my window, and it ended by 11pm, which made my sleeping difficult before that hour. Rooms could benefit from a better sound isolation as I could also listen the other guest talking in the nearest room.

This hotel is located within minutes of the Xinjiekou metro station and the bustling shopping district with malls galore. Its location is ideal for anyone visiting Nanjing. Although it’s not the newest hotel, it’s still clean and well maintained. It was very comfortable, although the days I went, the weather had turned cold, but it was still fine. The customer service was excellent, the same as I’ve found in all the hotels in China I’ve stayed in. All in all, a nice hotel which is excellent value for money and located in a very nice pet of Nanjing.

Location is very good. Just 1 minute walk away from the subway station. Nearby it is a walking street with a lot of varieties of food!

We booked 3 rooms on trip.com without realising these rooms don’t have a window. When we discussed this with the front desk, the manager kindly upgraded our rooms with no additional charges. The rooms are clean and spacious with great city views and the location is excellent, (although the air conditioning was a bit under-powered). Highly recommended!

They gave us drinks and snacks after having door problems. We also called due to the AC not cold enough, they said it should get better but didn’t. Woke up sweating. Other than that really good price for what you get.

Good place to stay. Near the metro and mall. Daily housekeeping.

Best stay during my whole trip in china! Room was very spacious and cozy! I mostly appreciated how all the staff were extremely helpful since the moment I stepped in! They were very friendly and did their best to help me whenever needed (looking for restaurants/taking the metro). Even those who didn’t speak English, did their best to advise me. Very nice hotel in a great location. Very good breakfast buffet, clean room, and helpful and attentive staff. Our only minor complaint was that the room had a slight smell of cigarettes that seemed to come from the ac, but that may have been on us not knowing how to book a non-smoking room. We would stay here again.

Fit room is under maintenance so no chance to use it. And if eliminated smoke rooms, it would be much better.
