Very convenient location to town! Beautiful walk to shops & restaurants. The Inn was nice but definitely needs updating in rooms & bathrooms. The owner was kind and helpful about information about Nantucket restaurants & shops. Pretty yard & flowers.

Amazing experience at the Barnacle Inn. Location is walkable. The mini fridge along with the garden patio allow for a nice reprieve for an afternoon drink/snack and a break from the high Nantucket prices. Having gone to Nantucket my whole life the ability to supplement some food and drink can really help offset trip costs. I booked for my girlfriends birthday specifically because she has a chocolate cookie addiction and the Phil makes scratch cookies every afternoon - Did not disappoint: exceptional cookie, We ate far too many. Susie and Phil run the Barnacle with heart and it is evident in everything from the thoughtful breakfast to the cleanliness of the rooms. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels on the island and while the Barnacle may not be the flashiest spot it was my best experience to date. Quintessential Nantucket.

The breakfast was great and it’s in downtown the rooms are big and spacious and the rooms are air conditioned the beds are really comfortable and luxurious the bathrooms are renovated and nice not to mention the manager’s Bernese Mountain Dog.

If I could give The Barnacle Inn 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. This is an incredibly peaceful, respectful, and welcoming place to stay in Nantucket. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The immediate feeling you get when you arrive here is a sense of belonging. It’s so incredibly beautiful and the staff work so hard to ensure the guests are always exceptionally satisfied. They wake up before dawn to start organizing everyone’s complimentary breakfast with absolute perfection. I did not want to leave. Anna Grace is the kindest and most welcoming host. The historic appeal is overwhelmingly charming. It’s perfect for a two min walk to downtown. I will ONLY stay here from now on.

Lovely inn with nautical touches and a lovely host! The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean, and and the hospitality meant a lot to my Mom and I. We are so glad we chose to stay here and recommend having breakfast on the patio each morning.

This is a wonderful B&B. The owners and staff are really friendly, accommodating. The Inn is lovely and the rooms are well-appointed. Very clean, inviting, and comfortable. The breakfasts are a treat. Homemade pastries, fruit and cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee and tea. We enjoyed ours in the courtyard. The best part is the location. Half block from Main Street. We had a car, but walked everywhere. I highly recommend the Barnacle Inn.

My wife and I booked a trip to Nantucket on relatively short notice. Fortunately, the Barnacle Inn still had a room available. The location was great (within walking distance of most everything in town), the setting was lovely, the owners (and their sweet dog) and staff were very friendly, and the breakfasts each day were very enjoyable. We'd gladly stay here, again!

Very nice inn. Susie is the best hostess and we loved her Bernese Mountain dog. Fresh baked cookies greet you when you check in. Water, hot tea, & coffee available all day. Breakfast was yogurt, various muffins/scones, cheese wedge, juice and delicious. Room was small but neat, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to town. Enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely place. As you walk in you almost feel like you're in the living room of good friend's home. Susie is lovely. She's the woman behind this place. The colors are vibrant. She has all the details. Fresh cookies await you on the front table. There's water out on the veranda. The grounds are so pleasant. You can't beat the prices. She is so fair. Not an easy thing in Nantucket. The best part? You're a two minute walk from Main Street. I loved The Barnacle in. Will come back!
