This is our second time staying here at the Microtel, and each time its been wonderful! The breakfast is good, the staff is nice, rooms are clean and ready upon arrival. When we come to Vernal now this is where we will stay each and every time. 10 out of 10! :)

I've stayed at other Microtel motels around the country and this was perhaps the best one yet. The building is about 10 years old and the rooms are a more normal budget motel size than other Microtel rooms I've been in that, while fully functional, were quite small. The room was clean, linens good, bed quite comfortable (medium firm). WIFI good. Of note was that their "basic" continental was as good or better than many of the breakfasts offered at Days Inn, Motel 8, La Quinta, etc. They had a well maintained, purpose built breakfast room with the BFast buffet next to it. Only complaint (hence losing a star) was that the AC/Heating unit was rather noisy, Had to turn it off at night b/c it kept waking me up when it cycled on.

Friendly front desk staff checked us in (and out) quickly. We had a very clean and comfortable room with one queen size bed. The continental breakfast was well stocked and typical choices of cereal, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice and coffee/hot tea. It's about as near as one can get to Dinosaur National Monument and a few miles from nearest restaurants in Vernal.

We got a double queen bed room and one of the beds had blood stains on the bottom sheet, not sure if the sheets were not changed or not checked but it was gross. We just slept in the other bed, glad we had that option. The breakfast was small but it worked for something quick.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room had a desk, one chair, a window bench, luggage shelf, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. There was a handicapped shower installed by someone who did not know what they were doing. The shower had no place to put soap or shampoo. The shower curtain was about 2 inches too short. The curtain rod curved out but the couple inch ridge that separated the shower from the rest of the bathroom floor was straight so between that and the too short shower curtain the water went all over half the large bathroom onto slippery tile. Also the shower floor was flat and didn't drain very well. The bathroom floor was showing the water damage. The staff and the room was nice but the bathroom wasn't safe or convenient if the shower was used.

Great place to stay! We enjoyed it and staff was nice! Pool is small but hardly anyone ever used it. Breakfast was great and yummy. There were gluten free options too. Place was clean and comfy
