Agra Suites

I could not recommend Agra Suites highly enough. Biagio provided the best service i have ever received. Everything i needed was provided and more. The location is perfect and tbe room is beautiful. If i ever come to Naples again, i will 100% be staying here!!!!!

September 2024 Things we loved: Location is phenomenal – this guesthouse is in the Chiaia district, near pedestrian walkways, boutiques, restaurants, and just minutes away (on foot) from the waterfront – where you can see Vesuvius. The interior of the guesthouse itself is modern and sleek. Our room (deluxe double) was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom and super comfortable bed. Our host, Biagio, was warm and welcoming. Agra is a B&B, so had no host/manager/front desk person on site most of the time – but we appreciated being able to communicate with Biagio via WhatsApp during our stay, and he was always anxious to help. We would absolutely stay again, however saw a few opportunities for improvement: • A light is needed in the shower – though the bathroom is large and bright, the shower is dark • Exclusive services offered include airport-to-station transfers and tours to Vesuvius and Pompeii – which we took advantage of and arranged in advance through Biagio. Unfortunately, we experienced issues with both. o Regarding the station transfer, our train from Rome was cancelled due to issues with the railway itself. We were fortunate to get a new departure time and arrived in Naples just 2 hours later than planned. Despite informing Biagio of this as soon as we learned of our cancelled train, we were told it was too late to make a change (there were no available drivers to pick us up at the new time) and were expected to pay for the pre-arranged service regardless as we were considered “no-shows”. With no private transfer, we paid for a taxi as well. o Regarding the tour to Vesuvius and Pompeii – when we arrived at Agra Suites, Biagio informed us that the full day tour he had booked for us through World Tours (Pompeii in the morning with a scenic tour of Vesuvius and a light lunch with wine tasting, followed by Herculaneum in the afternoon) was cancelled. Fortunately, there was available space to join two different tours: Pompeii in the morning (tour 1) – return to Agra - Herculaneum in the afternoon (tour 2) - however, there would be no lunch with wine tasting and no tour of Vesuvius, with no adjustment (reduction) in price. • On our last night, Agra Suites lost all power. This started mid afternoon and, when we arrived back after dinner had not been resolved. The room was pitch black (with only an emergency light in the bathroom) which made it impossible to pack our suitcases for our early morning flight. We contacted Biagio by phone, hoping he could provide a flashlight but said there were none. We were left to our own to figure it out. This also meant the room became very hot as the A/C could not function either – and we had to hope our phones did not run out of battery as they were our alarm clock to get us up and to the airport. While we get that things happen, we feel it would have been appropriate in this situation for the host to spend the night on site, to provide flashlights to guests – and generally ensure everyone’s co
