I loved staying at this bed and breakfast located on the roof of a building in Piazza Dante. Gemma is a wonderful, friendly host and the location is excellent for exploring Napoli. It is right near a metro station. There were plenty of vegan options for breakfast (as well as non-vegan). Gemma bakes a cake every few days and brings it in for her guests! I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Gemma!

Gemma was very responsive and arranged a shuttle and had a to go breakfast prepared for us since our departure was so early. The air conditioner was cold and the bed was comfortable. Gemma made us feel at home. La Gemma was very conveniently located- I did not realize just how convenient it was. We were only steps from the historical section and the archaeological museum. We were able to see everything we wanted to see in the short amount of time we had allotted. Felt very safe as well. I would stay here again and will recommend to my friends and family.

This is the perfect bed and breakfast stay in Naples! Gemma was an amazing host, going above and beyond to help us navigate our way through this lively city. She offered great recommendations for dinner and provided clear detail on how to transport around the area. The rooms were great sizes and very clean. It’s located in the center of town which is very helpful when wanting to explore. I will be recommending La Gemma to future friends who travel to Naples.

La Gemma is located in a fantastic position close to lots of bars and restaurants in the beautiful city of Naples. We had such a fantastic time and our stay was made all the better by the kindness and advice of Gemma who looked after us really well. Our room was clean and tidy and had aircon together with a nice en suite bathroom. The breakfasts were perfect for us and we would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay at La Gemma B&B. Such a great location, the room is clean and comfortable, and Gemma is a wonderful host! There are wonderful views from the roof top. All of that is wonderful but the breakfast was even better. Fresh baked goods, excellent coffee, and fruit. To top it off, the price cannot be beat. While there are a number of stairs to ascend/descend to get to the elevator, this is a jewel of a B&B and I will stay here if I visit Naples again.

Such a Gem! The owner, Gemma, could not have been more accommodating and she made everyone feel welcomed. The location is superb; right at the large plaza in what feels like the middle of 'happenings'. Gemma's husband also is amazing-he assisted with my luggage at the very early hours of the morning. Breakfast is home made and delicious and the 'rooftop' setting allows for great views over Naples. Highly recommended!

This small, owner-run bed and breakfast is amazing! Located on the roof-top of a beautiful building, right on the Piazza Dante, it offers you everything you need for your stay in Napoli. We stayed there for one night and loved it. The owner, Gemma, is very friendly and gave us great recommendations. When learning that we are vegan, she even compiled a list of vegan restaurants for us. The rooms are cute and clean, and come at a very fair price. Will definitely go back the next time we're in Napoli.

This is an excellent b&b and great value for money. The success is down to Gemma who is a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble and the b&b is full of little surprises where she adds her own touch. It’s spotless and well furnished. It’s a little tired but that’s Naples All her recommendations for restaurants, travel and general guidance were spot on and really valuable As others have commented the lift only goes to the fourth floor then you’re on your own. I strongly suggest that you contact Gemma in advance if you need help

Gemma demonstrated her wonderful hospitality before I left Canada for my stay in Naples. She sent me messages about how to get to places near the city that were difficult to access, tips on local transportation systems and even let me know of a particular Sunday during my stay when many of the sites were free. She was not only there when I arrived to orient me to the premises, she had noticed a glitch in my flight from Rome to Naples. She takes a warm interest in her guests, wants to know how their day was and what they saw and offers help when needed. The room was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with a great variety of food and drink offerings for all tastes. The location is really good as well, steps away from 2 important metro lines and the historical centre. I would not hesitate to try to stay at La Gemma again should I travel to Naples and highly recommend it. Vaughn Gillson
