This is such a great small hotel, perfect for solo travelers. It is super clean and the rooms have great views, fresh air and comfortable beds. Chiaia is an amazing neighborhood to explore on foot and has great restaurants. I am giving it two stars instead of five because of the terrible experience I had with their airport transfer service. I had a super early flight so I didn’t want to rely on hailing a cab at 4:30 am, so I scheduled (and pre-paid in cash) their airport transfer. The ride was scheduled for 4:30 am. I was exactly 8 minutes late getting downstairs (I miscalculated the time that would take to call the slow elevator and carry my bags down the stairs from the elevator to the front door) but by that time the driver had left. Nowhere on the airport transfer info did they inform me that there would be zero tolerance for delays and that the driver would leave after 5 minutes. As a result, I was stuck in front of the hotel, with all my luggage, facing the empty streets, in the dark, thinking I would now miss my flight. The Freenow app didn’t find any available drivers. I knew Uber doesn’t work in Napoli. I tried to stay calm and not panic. I was lucky there was a taxi in front of the metro station a block away and I made it to the airport in time. The hotel coldly responded to my request for a refund with a screen shot of their security camera as proof that the driver had come, but because I was late I wouldn’t get a refund. So I do recommend the hotel, but avoid their transfer services.
