Stayed 3 months ago so I will explain all from memory - located opposite the station, not in a safe area. It's on the 5th floor of a building and there is a small elevator to take you up. You collect your keys from a coded box (my box was open?) and then you go to your room where, apparently the breakfast will be left there for you. Maybe someone stole mine or it weren't left, I don't know. You will not interact with any staff there, so do not expect to do so (which is ok with me, i'm not fussed!). 3 minutes after I arrive to the room, a fight breaks out between the homeless/drugged up people that hang around outside downstairs by the entry door. As you are gathering, it was my fault I did not research more about the accommodation before booking. Live and learn. I go for a walk to see the castle however the area around the B&B, I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable that i made it 1/4 of the way before I turned back. The streets are so dodgy and everyone around you are well aware you are a tourist. Be careful of pickpockets. I then stayed in the B&B for the whole evening and didnt leave. I booked a full day trip to see the Amalfi so that I was out of the town. When I arrived back, I do recommend going across the green to some of the restaurants I had discovered where you could have a lovely meal and glass of wine for around 10-12 euros. Wish i had discovered this the night before to be honest. There's also a reasonable cafe on the corner (come out of the apartment block, straight ahead and its the corner cafe on the left) and they do nice croissants and cakes, and the staff are friendly. I then received a message from a staff member requesting the tourist tax (funny!) to be paid. In the B&B, you have a broken vending machine and broken coffee maker. However, the room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was fab. Overall, would NOT stay in this part of town again. I think i need to revisit a different part of Naples to change my mind about the city!
