The room had a great view! Also the location of the hotel is very convenient, not too far away from the deer park. The thing that I didn’t like much is the mold in the bathroom.. But I stayed at this hotel just for two nights, so doesn’t matter.

Location near to train station. Room is clean and comfortable and about 1.4km to Nara Park by foot

Smile Hotel Nara is a great base for exploring Nara! It is very close to the JR Nara station (It only took a few minutes to walk to the hotel from the station). From the station, you can take a cheap bus to go look at many of the famous views and sights (and deer) in and around Nara Park (photos attached)! The hotel was older but still very clean, had free luggage storage for guests, and was very warm on a cold winter night! Also, you can drink the sink water from this hotel bathroom!

Very good hotel, good price, good location. This hotel has very good arrangements, good facilities, near JR Nara station just 3 minutes by walk. This hotel provides pajamas, comb, cotton bud, toothbrush for picking up at front of lift. This hotel is very clean, provide towels everyday. All facilities in the room has everything, i really enjoy my 5 days staying in this hotel

Room was decent, I loved that they provided an air purifier. Great location, few minutes walk from the station.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It‘s located 100m away from Nara Station and approx. 2km walk to Nara Park. The room was clean. Restaurants and shops are nearby.

Very close to the jr line , clean and convenient Though a bit far from the Nara park but still a very good choice and budget friendly

The hotel is very nice solo or with friends totally with everybody and clean and close to subway bus stop

3 minutes walk from Nara station Kind and warm service, clean room and size is good for one guy

Fast and friendly check in. However checkout is a bit weird. The girls helping me asked me to take the bags to the front desk from the luggage area just to write the tag. She was standing at the luggage area with tags where she could just write it. Hope the management can improve this inconvenience.

Checked in after 12:00, good staff, good clean rooms, buffet.

Too silent nearby and far away from the underground. The room is too small for a couple.

This friendly hotel is very close to the train station, that’s making it very convenient to arrive and go in Nara. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main street going towards Nara Park and in the end about 30 minutes altogether. The hotel staff were very pleasant and I had a very good stay.
