Super nice hostel and hotel in a traditional Japanese building. Very friendly host. Nice yard to chill. Dorm with bed and a chilling floor! Amazing!

Very nice and clean place. It's an old traditional house. Close to convenience stores and not far from the station and the park. I stayed in the dorm and appreciated that over the bed there's a private resting area. Definitely recommended.

It’s a really lovely old Japanese house, but it’s really not been made over into a guest house at all. 1. There are pictures of a bath. It is not in the hotel it is just a separate public bath you have to pay for… 2. They charge for everything including “renting” towels and yukata 3. No noise blocking at all and kids are allowed. It sounds like they are in your room 4. Contactless check in doesn’t feel very safe

Quaint and comfortable traditional Japanese inn. Most times we struggled to find anyone who worked there. Many systems in place to do things by yourself. Towels were an extra charge.

We really appreciated the stay at the old traditionnal timber house, everything is kept in its style. The lifestyle also is part of the house : everyone is playing the game, being very silent and respectful, sharing a very nice traditionnal kitchen. The house may miss one more shower but it still works. I totally recommand the experience !!

A lovely traditional Japanese building in a quiet part of Nara. A 15 minute walk to both Nara station and Nara Park.

The place was very well quietly and near by the Nara park.

Incredibly pretty building. Maybe not the most comfortable objectively, but I'd definitely choose it again.

They had everything that was needed for one night. Plus, they had the option to rent, or buy, some extra amenities to make your stay an even more traditional experience. And what was really outstanding compared to other hostels in Japan, was that the other guests were very considerate towards each other! Had a great stay!

Traditional Japanese home

Good location between main station and center, it's a very old inn so good atmosphere if you want to stay in a traditional building. Strange smell upon entering, not much option to ventilate as the window faced the main entryway albeit from the second floor. Very good sized individual room (it can fit 3 futons easily) with a low table. Its a self check in but with good instructions in English. All in all recommend!

La struttura è vicinissima al centro della città, la stanza è in stile giapponese antico con tatami e futon. Per quanto riguarda docce e bagno erano entrambi puliti e curati. In aggiunta a disposizione dei clienti ci sono vari tipi di the, caffè e porridge di riso per colazione
