Tucked away amongst the rolling hills of Pembrokeshire- this restful boutique escape brings the best of old and new Wales together. The beautifully restored historic house is surrounded by 28 acres of gardens and ancient woodland- while the rooms and cottages balance antique furniture with modern comforts. Think huge- squishy beds and free standing bathtubs- in-room massage treatments and stunning views of the Preseli Hills. Luxury extends to The Fernery restaurant- which balances the freshest ingredients with award-winning wines. But The Grove also caters to more relaxed moods. Curl up in front of a roaring fire with a good book or tuck into cream tea in the Snug. Little ones and dogs will have plenty to explore in the pretty gardens- as will adventurous types who want to take to the hills. Head to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park for sweeping beaches and some of the best clifftop walking in the country- and ask the chef to prepare you a special picnic hamper for the ride.
