Garage converted to a rec room for additional sitting space and games like darts and oversized Jenga. The water typically is warm enough for comfortable swimming in summer. Our shore is a sand and rock mix, so be sure to bring water shoes if you plan to swim. You are also welcomed to use our kayaks, stand up paddle board, and peddle boat! These items are available May - October. This area is a fishing hot spot all year round! We have tried to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. We provide a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, all bed linens, pillows, towels, and soaps. New, unlimited high speed internet provides fast and reliable WiFi suitable for streaming and browsing. Head to Sturgeon Bay and don't miss the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in summer! Throughout the year, you can stroll through downtown and enjoy great shopping, food, and drinks. Viewing the North Pierhead lighthouse by walking out on the break wall jutting into Lake Michigan on the north side of the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal can make for a memorable experience and should not be missed. This may be the more photogenic place in all of Door County! Don't miss Potawatomi State Park if you are looking for mountain biking, a boat launch, an invigorating hike (Hemlock Trail) or a challenging ski when there is snow. Looking for a beach? Head to Haines County Park, just a mile away. The sand, sun, and water can not be beat here. This is a real Door County treasure!
