Remota Patagonia Lodge

A lovely hotel. The floors look incredibly slippy but as no-one fell over I assume they aren't. If you can't resist straightening picture frames it might not be for you as everything is skewed, floors, window frames are all slanted. The views are incredible and we were lucky with some beautiful sunsets. The trips were excellent and well organised with brilliant guides. The all day photo trip to Torres del Paine with lunch in the park should not be missed. Now the reason it isn't a 5. The food when it is a la carte is stunning accompanied by lovely wine. However on a Sunday evening the only option is buffet and it was awful. We ate at 8pm and everything had been out since 6pm. Tough beef, dry salmon, everything that should be hot was barely lukewarm, Desserts that should be chilled also luke warm. It really was incredibly disappointing as the food the previous day had been so good we had high expectations and wanted to try so many things on the menu.

We were there for short stay but love the scenic view from the lobby and room. Has delicious food for all meals. Good service. Comfortable clean rooms. Only issue wifi was weak in the room. But easily accessible in thr lobby. Highly recommended.

This is probably our favorite hotel we've ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming (our two year old loved the little sheep room keys). The view from our room, and from the common areas in the hotel are absolutely breathtaking... I couldn't stop taking photos, especially during sunset! We loved relaxing in the upstairs rooms, and the food in the restaurant was wonderful as well. The staff even played legos with our kid during breakfast some days so that we had a chance to eat. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable (Mauricio and Julio in particular). In the afternoons, the pool area was a perfect place to relax (or enjoy a massage). Location was excellent and we were able to walk into town, or drive into Torres Del Paine park easily, but most of all we just enjoyed being at the hotel. We 100% would love to go back to this hotel one day and go on some of the excursions they had to offer.... we were with our 2 year old this time, so it was better for us to be on our own schedule when exploring the surrounding area. This luxury hotel was a highlight of our trip to Chile for sure.

Really enjoyed Remota. It offers great food (braised lamb, in particular) to match great views and nicely appointed rooms with a local flair. Short walk into town along the waterfront. Would not hesitate to stay at Remota again if I am in the area.

This hotel is horrible. Holes in the wall, no internet, no place to sit comfortably in the room, no place to sit comfortably in the public areas. $45 USD per person for lunch. If I could give it a negative number I would. We have been in 6 hotels so far throughout Patagonia. This place is HORRIBLE. I have to walk down a freezing, uneven hallway to go to dinner. NO IDEA who would rate this above a 1 star

Stylish and unique Remota was an enjoyable one night stay. Our twin room had lots of space to spread out and a large window with views of the surrounding rugged nature. The weather was very cold and windy and the hotel was so cozy and warm. Due to the weather, walking into town was not an option. We used Uber which was quite cheap compared to US prices. Breakfast was a little picked over when we got there, but overall fine. Having pancakes was a nice treat. There are many common areas to relax and indoor fire pits, which were not lit, but look very inviting. The room key is on a super-cute wooly sheep key-ring which sums up the extra quality and is a nice touch.
