Brandon Hall Plantation

This is THE nicest home we have ever stayed in! The home is immaculate and the grounds outside is gorgeous! What made this stay extra special was the host Gloria. She is gracious and opened up her house to us, allowing use to truly enjoy all the property has to offer. We stayed in the main house and we felt like royalty! Our stay included daily southern breakfast in the formal dining room, which was all home cooked by Gloria and served by her friendly helper Michael. It was superb! Breakfast was followed by a 1-hour tour of the house, which was very informative and entertaining. Staying here at Brandan Hall was by far the highlight of our visit to Natchez.

My wife and I spent our 32nd wedding anniversary at Brandon Hall in one of the cottages. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I requested flowers for my wife and the staff had them waiting in our room when we arrived. She was surprised. I would recommend doing the breakfast too.

The unparalleled beauty and peace of Brandon Hall was matched only by the service. Gloria the owner was lovely, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She is a true caretaker of the history of this elegant home. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom of the main house. It was spacious and comfortable with its own private bathroom. We enjoyed delicious morning breakfasts in the finely appointed dining room and Gloria gave us a detailed history of the home. Gloria was accommodating and available yet gave us free roam of the grounds allowing us time to explore and enjoy the home on our own. We will definitely visit again.

We arrived in Natchez without any accommodations confirmed for the evening. After much research there was no doubt that we wanted to experience Brandon Hall Plantation. Gloria (the owner) could not have been more gracious as she welcomed us into her home on such short notice. The beauty of the stunning landscape is exquiste and from the moment you arrive you feel as if you have stepped back in time. Gloria has preserved every aspect of the mansion and has truly created an experience for her guests. What makes the experience so special is that Gloria makes YOU feel special. She is a wealth of knowledge about the history, not only of Brandon Hall Plantation, but also Natchez. So fascinating to hear her stories as she gives her guests the tour. The rooms in the mansion are absolutely charming, however, we choose to stay in the Carpenter Cottage and we loved it. Comfortable and roomy with a fully equipped kitchen. A wonderful front porch with rocking chairs. We spent our evening sitting on the porch...sipping wine....and enjoying the beauty of the Plantation. The next morning we had breakfast in the mansion's dining room where we met and chatted with the other guests. Wonderful food with good company. Attention is paid to every detail right down to the choice of china. The location of the Plantation is perfect. Very secluded and tranquil yet only a short drive into town for dining and shopping. Gloria's dedication to her historic home and to her guests is unparalleled. Brandon Hall Plantation will make your visit to Natchez even more special.

What a breathtaking house and grounds. Gorgeous. We stayed 3 days and so enjoyed the hospitality and friendship of the owner Gloria and her assistant Michael. We were made to fell like family. The historical tour and the house was fascinating. Yes, Yes, we will go again. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay.

I stayed 3 nights in one of the cottages with my sister in law. The entire property exudes peace and tranquility. The owner, Gloria, and Mike (much more than an employee), treated us as friends, not just paying guests. The breakfasts each morning were sublime in the elegant dining room setting. The conversations were interesting and exquisite details were evident in each of the appointed rooms. I would certainly return to this beautiful property.
