Hotel Mein Almhof

The breakfast is amazing. Even the meats are freshly cut. The wellness areas are superb. They are new clean and offer breathtaking views. Bed and mattress are to be replaced immediately. We slept very bad and we both had back pain every day. We complained about this after the first night, but nothing was done about it. When checking out we mentioned this again and we were told that the rooms are scheduled to be updated, like some of the other parts in the hotel. Also the curtains were incorrectly placed. We noticed this late in the evening, but reception and maintenance staff was already gone. The restaurant manager came to our rescue and fixed it and reported it. The next day in the afternoon someone from the house keeping staff had switched it back again, so we had to get somebody to get it changed AGAIN. Food in the restaurant and bar was expensive and honestly not very good.

We had completed a 10-hour journey. After a delicious dinner, we went to the room around 8 p.m. The music from the hotel's après-ski bar was already quite loud. At the front desk they had no alternative room available . In the end, no one from the front desk was there after 10pm. The music went louder and louder, Finally at 3.00 I went outside myself to demand that the music be turned down. What a terrible start to the vacation, loud bass and very loud music and no one to help me. Spoke to the hotel manager the next day and finally got the night back at my own request. Too bad I had to indicate this solution myself. Furthermore, little came from the hotel in terms of apologies, while money can never be the goal.

We arrived a little late but the reception was very friendly and explained everything in detail. Parking in the garage for 10€ per day is a good offer. Dinner at 20.30 was no problem at all. The staff was attentive but not intrusive and overall very friendly. Breakfast was great, large selection, good quality, we didn‘t miss a thing. I was positively surprised by the dinner, nice concept of small portions so you can try everything they offer (even twice). Many options for vegetarians, which I really appreciated. The interior of the bar is appealing and the big tv was great to watch the EM. Unfortunately at 23.00 we got our bill, another drink was not possible (maybe due to off season they close a little bit earlier). We had a small room in the main building, it was cosy and clean, the bathroom was very nice. Unfortunately, the room was less soundproofed as I am used to but I guess it is due to the age of the building. We also used the SPA area, everything we needed was there (a very hot sauna and a sole steam bath), relaxing water beds, different types of tea and snacks (nuts and berries). I really liked the towels which are offered in the Spa area. The pool at the top of the roof is great for a swim and the view is stunning! Overall it was a perfect stay and we are looking forward to return in August.

This was our third visit to Mein Almhof and it was great! Great location, great food and great staff. What more to ask for? We'll certainly come back! Ok, the room we stayed in was perhaps not the most modern, but everything was clean and spacious.

Great place , fabolous food, so kind staff, great rooms and locations - fabulous view. Everything was perfect. We will for sure come back👍😀 We really enjoyed everything - nice and quiet place - so relaxing. Especially the morning breakfast is wonderful 👍 The sky pool could have been a little more warm😀 and more lighting in the dark. - but still perfect

The hotel is really really nice and has a very nice SPA. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. The breakfast buffet is very reach and the dinner is basically a very high quality all you can eat with very fine dishes.

The hotel is very, very clean and all the employees there are very, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere there is super warm. The food is absolutely excellent and versatile. We will spend our vacation there again. The rooms are very clean and the wellness area is very versatile and clean and beautiful.

We enjoyed 2 days of indulgent relaxation, with kind and professional staff, excellent roof-top pool, 2 different spa areas, and delicious and interesting food (really good for us as vegetarians, with plentiful cheese and egg options; vegans would have less choice). We loved the temperature of the sky pool - warm but not too warm, so that you could have a proper swim. The saunas and steam rooms were great. Our room was spacious, and ideal for 3 people (with an internal extra bedroom for teenage son). The separate toilet and the shower were really good, and we appreciated the space to sit and read - in the living area or the balcony. Everything was very clean. Beds and linen were really comfortable.

The hotel keeps the great experience even after the transition to the new management. Delicious food and a wonderful wellness area are always a guarantee for a great stay. There are many opportunities to get active (hiking, biking).
