Hotel Mim Baqueira Luxury & Spa

Great hotel, with special attention to guests needs, communicating parking details and arranging last minute spa reservations. Bar was warm and welcoming with delicious pizza and wine by the glass. Comfortable rooms a perfect place to stay after a day skiing in the mountains

We traveled with 2 kids of 8 and 12 y.o. and spent several days in room 422 (Apartamento Deluxe). Somehow the sofa bed was located on the upper floor with the side right next to the stairs which made it impossible to put there the kids (we were scared they can fall off the stairs while sleeping). The bathroom is super tiny with one small sink (the photo showed two sinks) and did not have a lock. The toilet inside is located super close to the wall so you feel really uncomfortable sitting there. The room might be perfect for a couple, but for a family of our size it was a nightmare. We asked the reception several times to change us the room where the children can sleep in separate beds (with extra pay, of course) but they only showed us Suite on the 5th floor (and we asked for Suite Junior that was available on the webpage) which of course was nothing like the photo and another room 700 (Apartamento Dúplex) which according to the availably was supposed to be Duplex Privilege and have a separate bed. So don't be surprised if your room looks nothing like the photo!!! The cleaning kept leaving us 2 towels instead of 4, so we had to call every day to bring us extra towels. We asked for a bathrobe, but even with a pay it was not available. The spa had special hours for families with kids, with prior reservation and it is was always packed. Here is some good stuff about the hotel: location is great, food is awesome, parking is spacious, lockers are good.

I arrived with 3 friends (2 male and another female) for a ski week on 21st January 2024. We were allocated two double-bedded rooms when we had asked for two twin-bedded rooms. Apparently the hotel had not been told by Crystal! The beds were changed after we complained. The hotel's location to the lockers and ski lifts is excellent. The food was very good - could have done with more/different vegetables though. All the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are not meant for skiers! They're very modern and smart, but useless for ski clothes. No shelves, a serious lack of hooks. My friend and I (two ladies) had one small wardrobe and two drawers. There were shelves, very spaced out and so high that my friend had to throw her clothes on to the top shelf. I had a bedside table with one drawer, which was so difficult to open that you had to hold the table so that the whole thing didn't move! My friend had a peculiar looking table that was so small, there wasn't room for much on top. The telephone had been put there so we moved that to under the bed! We had to ask for a small chair so that we had somewhere to sit and put clothes. The bathroom had a very large basin but the plug didn't close (this was the design). The basin was so big that there was very little room for toiletries around it. There was a shelf underneath but as the towels were hanging there, it wasn't very convenient. We had to hang our ski jackets in the bathroom - no hooks in the actual bedroom. I certainly wouldn't recommend the hotel to ski friends even though the rest of the hotel was very nice, location and food excellent. They need a couple of women to help the designers. Very posh but not practical.

All Is perfect, thanks for a staff and their assistance, good luck and all the best, location and services is very good, access to the hotel, parking places, close to the ski lifts, has a shopping galleria.

Staff were super helpful and service oriented. The bell hop, reception, wait staff, room cleaners, everyone did a fantastic job with a smile. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is located a short walk from the gondola and in fact the ski locker is right beside the gondola. And the hotel team put your skis in your locker and empty it for you at checkout. Couldn’t be more convenient.

Upon arrival we were personally welcomed by Toni Solivellas, the Hotel Manager and throughout our stay we were exceptionally well looked after, Silvia who heads up their guest services could not have been more helpful as was Julia who kindly arranged for a early departure picnic/breakfast. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and having a ski locker provided right next to the telecabine was incredibly spoiling. This was my second visit to the hotel and I am certainly planning to return next year!
