Maragas Beach Camping

My experience at this campground was extremely negative and traumatic. I was simply passing through; I had gone to the bar while my daughter needed to use the restroom, and I was not a direct customer. Despite this, I was verbally and physically attacked, including pushes by the staff. Later, the owner's father threatened me with a blade, an incredibly serious incident that was also documented on video. All this happened in an already tense atmosphere: I had previously been slandered by some tourists on the beach, which fueled a hostile attitude towards me on the part of the campground. What strikes me most is the total lack of human respect, where only money seems to matter. People aren't just numbers on a balance sheet: they deserve dignity and consideration. I hope my daughter can soon forget this sad episode. And I hope the campground will embrace this testimony as food for serious reflection, so that similar experiences never happen again.

This beach is beautiful. It is private so u have to either buy food with the restaurant and some ask for a sitting fee. It was less crowded and we loved that we can order food and drinks right to our chairs. Water such an amazing color and clean. Cedar Cafe was amazing and did not charge extra but you did have to spend 40-50 eur which was super easy with their amazing menu and the food was yummmmyyyyyy

this is a must. No joke. great rooms, great staff, right on the beach, great places to eat nearby. Great beach, supermarket, busstop right in front of the reception, 15-20 euro taxi from the airport or from the city centre. Just go there.

Très belle plage à côté de la grande plage de Plaka. Le sable y est légèrement plus épais mais tout aussi agréable et le prix des transats est bien plus raisonnable sur cette plage. Des bons restaurants à quelques minutes à pied dont certains directement sur la plage sans que cela ne soit insupportable. La plage n'est pas du tout surpeuplée.
