The Nature Villa and Cabanas

Overall this villa is fine for an overnight stay, but it isn’t suited particularly well to my taste and needs. I think I had false expectations when I read positive reviews on other web sites. If you are young and low budget it may suit you, particularly if it is the start of your trip and you have nothing else to compare it with. There’s a pleasant pool and the rooms and complex are clean. The brutalist style concrete rooms, however, are not appealing to me. They feel dingy. The bed is wide, but short and consists of a cheap mattress on a concrete slab. It’s not likely to air well with hot, sweaty bodies in a humid environment. There’s a top sheet, but no light blanket to help couples who sleep at different temperatures. The rooms are basic with no cabinets or hanging hooks. Everything goes on the floor or a small, low concrete ledge. There is a steep set of steps, that are a bit short for mid-size feet, to get to the rooms. Breakfast was poor. Location is quiet. About a 10 minute walk through back lanes to the main street and beach. I can see why some people might like this place, but if you are a bit older you may not have the same enthusiasm.

Had an amazing stay at this hidden cabana hotel in Kattuwa/Negombo SL. The place is super neat and clean, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasts a refreshing pool. The highlight of the stay was Kanthie! the host, is exceptional – tirelessly working around the clock to ensure every detail is taken care of. Her hard work, attentiveness, and wonderful personality truly enhance the overall experience.

Very nice place to be. Staff is very friendly bedrooms are very clean everything it s easy many facilities. A nice garden with swiming pool. We come back sure. Good place to arrive in SRI Lanka not far from airport. They Can organise your transfert. Enjoy this place

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our holiday to Sri Lanka The staff were so welcoming and helpful and helped with days out Kandy made an amazing breakfast The rooms were lovely and the setting and pool just divine It wasn't far to walk down to the beach We have booked to stay again on the way back Highly recommended

This little gem ticked all the boxes for us. We received a friendly welcome when we arrived after a long flight. Our host was super accommodating and we were well looked after. We even decided to stay an extra night. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we made good use of the pool. The location was nestled back from the main street making it a quiet retreat, yet the beach, shops, bars and restaurants were only short walk away. Breakfast was available with a generous serving. Would definitely recommend.

Well equipped and well managed BnB guest house. Nature surrounded, tranquility ensuring, rooftop with organic garden /green house with hammock. Rooms are cozy and well maintained. Home cooked organic meals. The host Chitrani is a treasure trove of knowledge and experience. The Nook is a "Homely guest House" ... With many places to relax in the garden and roof top.. All shops and places of cultural and religious significance is located in walking distance.. In the heart of the Negombo town but tranquility is achieved due to garden spaces made available around the homely welcoming guest house. The location is immersed in history and souvenirs /geological traces from across the world. It's a living museum.. We found it hard to leave the place. Our experience was rich and meaningful and memorable.
