Prestige Inn Nelson

Great renovated hotel in Nelson BC. Very clean lovely new large screen TV. The staff was wonderful. Went over the top to assist us. Price was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Great views of mountains everywhere

Pretty old building but they offer a good service with 24 hour coffee ready on lobby which was good to me. Great locations to reach out downtown and a walk along the pedestrian road

We spent two nights here while in Nelson. The price was good and the location was great, just above the park and lakeside walking path. Downtown was withing walking distance. Staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. Although the location does not have amenities, we were able to use the pool and spa at the sister resort just down the way. The staff at the lakefront resort were very welcoming and helpful as well. While the Prestige is near the railroad tracks it really wasn't that noticeable, and our room was on the ground level facing the tracks. The only minor ding was parking was a bit tight but we found a spot both evenings in the backlot right behind our room. We would stay here again when visiting Nelson.

This was a nice hotel with easy access of the highway. The room was fine and the check in experience was good. There was no continental breakfast or pool but access to the Prestige Lakefront which was nearby was available which was good The room was clean and comfortable. After checking in they advised us their were earplugs in the room as we were adjacent(less than 100 yards) to the railroad tracks and their was no schedule for trains passing. That was not a problem.

Great place to stay. Hotel looks kinda like a ******* Victorian mansion. I didn’t hear the train at all, but maybe that’s because we were facing the street. We had a tiny little room, but it was great and it’s all we needed. Price was reasonable and there’s a beautiful river close by.very nice walk to a beach park area. There’s also a bunch of stores and a few places if you need to get some food or coffee. It’s a little bit of a walk to downtown but it’s great exercise. Will definitely stay here again if coming back to Nelson.

Nice location. Great access to walking paths along the beautiful lake. Good shopping nearby. Super nice staff.

The overall value is terrible, The rooms were not clean, the location is right on the railway tracks, there are no amenities unless you call free ear plugs an amenities as you need them for both the training that runs beside the hotel and the A/C unit that is louder than the train. not a $200 per night hotel by a long shot.

Wouldn't stay here again, despite having a lift we still had to get our luggage up and down stairs. Also too close to that train line (thanks for the complimentary earplugs though). The outside balcony light stayed on all night long (as with all the other balconies we could see) and was controlled by the hotel so no way to turn off. Makes getting to sleep a bit difficult. Also a bit far of a walk to main street in town for our needs.
