We stopped here twice either side of a 3 day Abel Tasman hiking trip.The accomodation is large with stunning views across the water but up a steep entrance but no problem with a car. Supermarkets about 10 minutes drive away. No complaints whatsoever although we never saw the owners. Only issue was not being able to leave our car at the property but you could park in the road outside if necessary.

Absolutely beautiful. I cannot say enough positive things about our short stay. It was magical, the view is enchanting. The accommodations are comfortable and so charming. The hosts left a sweet bouquet of native foliage and small cookies on the table, we felt so welcome. I highly recommend this location.

This accomodation is amazing. We stayed in the Chart House Upper Deck and it was perfect for our family! The views were spectacular and the apartment had everything we needed. We arrived early and were able to check in at 11.30am which allowed us to leave our bags somewhere safe.

Top notch accomodation with stunning views over the ocean. Kim, the manager, was very easy to contact and arrange our arrival. The apartment was large, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. You could live there forever! Highly recommend this accomodation for future travellers.

We only stayed here one night but wished we could have stayed longer. You get a spacious apartment and outdoor terrace with beautiful sea views. The gardens are beautiful. The accommodation is located on a steep hill so you need to drive in and out with care. Nelson is a fantastic small city - we would recommend Melrose House with a lovely cafeteria and which is free to walk around.

The views are amazing from all rooms, the big windows make the most of the sea views. Clean and spacious apartment. Nice kitchen and private deck out the side. The only negative is the shower- no pressure and hard to get temperature right, the shower is very big but you have to walk out of water to adjust taps. Very hard to rinse shampoo out of hair with a dribble of water. No instructions about how to check in so went to wrong accommodation initially and had to phone lady. We stayed in the upper deck.

Fantastic location. Thoughtfully fitted out full kitchen. Great rooms. Awesome sea views. Gracious welcoming hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The kids didn't want to leave. Highly recommended for families wanting the self catering option.

This was our least favorite accommodation on our 2 week stay in NZ. The seating was uncomfortable, the TV was tiny, the bed sheets were low quality and frankly we did not think it was clean - some of the dishware was still dirty and the amount of dust was visible (the oar coming down the stairs has a THICK layer). We also emailed them while we were there (we had no phone service) and got no response.

Wonderful experience staying in the Crow's Nest cottage. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views off the deck. And, visitors from North America will appreciate this: some of the windows have screens! Highly recommended.
