Ah House City B&B Nelson

Ah House is a MUST do for a unique Nelson city bed and breakfast experience. Enchanting accommodation, everything you need for a wonderful stay, Mark and John are THE best hosts, most comfortable bed and pillows, and yummy continental and cooked breakfast. So many special features. Highly recommend Ah House.

Mark and John are fabulous hosts. We were welcomed on arrival and shown our beautiful room which also had a kitchenette. The room, bathroom and kitchenette were spotless with a super comfy bed. There were plenty of information for the local area waiting for us on the table in the room and Mark was a font of all knowledge. Mark cooked a marvelous breakfast to order with homemade bread. Our only regret was we were only staying one night we could very easily have stayed a few more and explored the area.

This is by far the best hotel, motel or B&B we have stayed at in NZ so far and we have been in the country for three weeks by now and stayed in approx. 15 different places. Ah House is a charming B&B run my Mark & John who go out of their way to make their guests feel at home, welcome and comfortable. Everything is in immaculate condition and lots of attention and love to the small details.

WOW, wow, and WOW! Don't look any further! Just book here! You won't be disappointed. I can't say enough about the AH house, Nelson City B&B. Wonderful accommodations. We stayed in the Garden apartment, and it was lovely. Big comfortable bed with the nicest sheets and pillows along with a cozy bed warmer for those chilly Nelson evenings. Our hosts Mark and Bruce left no stone uncovered and provided everything needed for a wonderful stay including the coziest robes to wear. Coffee and creamer were also provided so upon waking we could make our own cup of French press coffee. Nice touch. The garden apartment has a beautiful private deck to sit on and enjoy the beautiful garden, complete with whimsical ornaments and gorgeous pottery sprinkled throughout. The garden is like looking at an artistically done garden canvas. AND, if that's not enough, they provide a wonderful, yummy, homemade breakfast in the dining room. The table setting is so beautiful you'll feel like a King or Queen! Mark and Bruce are the perfect hosts and there's a reason they get so many awards for their B&B. I give it a 10 out of 10! But book early. We recommended it to a couple we met while traveling, but sadly for them, it was already booked.

Mark and John are fantastic hosts at this exceptional B&B close to the centre of Nelson. Very clean, well thought-out and comfortable accommodation - and we loved the wonderfully eclectic and interesting decor! Mark and John’s warmth and humour made this a very memorable stay. Totally recommend… we will be back!!
