The manager was very helpful in changing our room, as my mom is elderly and we needed different accommodations than what I reserved. The staff are very friendly and helpful, so I'd advise calling in advance to learn more information about the room you reserve. The breakfast food was very tasty, fresh and a good variety of choices. I would advise any elderly guests that the bathroom in the apartment is very tight without bars to hold onto. The beach is very close and the neighborhood is quiet, so it's an excellent choice for a peaceful get-away. The furniture could use a little updating but everything worked fine.

A very unfortunate experience for me and my wife. Upon arrival it was clear that there was no heat in the room. Despite notifying the staff, the only remedy was to supply portable heaters the following night. There was no adjustment of our room rate for this inadequacy. While there was a breakfast it was skimpy and not prepared by a real chef. Furnishing were early Salvation Army and included a very uncomfortable sofa. Overall we were very disappointed with our accommodation and under no circumstances would we return.

I have stayed here for a week in August since 2020 and i keep coming back because it is such a comfortable place to stay with a friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast on a porch with an "ocean view" and everything is geared to making your stay a good one!

Clean! Comfortable! Great hot shower and pressure! Just a couple of minutes walk to beach. Breakfast buffet included. Very nice and view of ocean/beach! Very walkable town! Easy enough to street park. Parking is FREE! All in all a delightful stay! We stayed at the Ocean View Inn. Don’t think twice.

Best ever! So comfortable and a view of the Ocean. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and very accommodating. Room 300 is awesome, large and comfortable. Full kitchen and bedroom kitchen and living room face the ocean. Go!

Lovely inn and room with kind, helpful staff. Was one block from a nice beach. Quiet area in a nice little town. Lots to do nearby. Our room was nicely done and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful with home-cooked foods, local baked goods, and great coffee. Highly recommended!

The Ocean View Inn is clean, quiet, and one block away from the boardwalk and beach. The staff is very pleasant. Their breakfast options were hot and cold and were pretty good. The only one negative thing I would have to say is that they have a small deck on the 2nd floor of the Inn that is in much need of being repaired. It would have been awesome and an extra bonus if it were repaired and we were able to sit outside. Other than that, we sat on the porch and in front of the property and just basically relaxed. Great place and we will definitely go back!

We had a most enjoyable time at the Ocean View Inn during Christmas weekend. The lobbies were delightfully decorated, along with tasteful, twinkling exterior lights. Our room was quiet and meticulously clean. Most visitors will undoubtedly mention the breakfast buffet... an impressive array of hot and cold items, graciously served by the staff each morning. I highly recommend the Ocean View without hesitation, and hope to stay there again.

We love this charming and cozy inn that is just a quick walk to the ocean, the Ocean Grove Pier, or the boardwalk that leads into Asbury Park. The morning breakfast is worth staying for, too, rather than venturing out. This place has become our must-stop spot to stay as part of an annual trip to visit our son at college. It helps to break up the trip and recharge us with that refreshing ocean air.
