Hotel Nerja Club by Dorobe

Hotel immaculate...maids give us clean towels everyday...food lovely ..staff lovely ...happy hour 4.30 till 6.30 every night is good ....plenty choice with food...we had room side of mercadona...if you go down that road to get to beach and shops it's not as steep ....Pauline tui rep is lovely ...people shouldn't put negative reviews as i cannot fault this hotel in anyway ....I'd definitely go back...Antonio was great getting us nice room..reception staff are nice friendly....a lot of walking but overall a lovely place ...

3rd floor room facing pool. Tiny balcony which is in need of repair. Not enough hanging space in wardrobe. Very firm beds. Small TV 1 english channel . Kettle provided . Small fridge in room. Bath with a shower which is powerful but if you want a bath it take 35minutes to fill, I kid you not. Towels need replacing as old.and hard so maybe bring your own. Plenty of lighting in room and socket next to beds. Free air con ,we never used so can't review. Safe in wardrobe is 3.50 euro per day. Room cleaned daily Outdoor pool was freezing but it is Feb. Wouldn't use it as it wasn't cleaned whole of our stay and had a film on top of it. Inside pool is filthy dirty and smells . Reported it to receptionist after we used it for 5mins then got out. Small gym area. Lockers but no keys given. Didn't matter as didn't stay . Jacuzzi next to indoor pool kept overflowing to the floor below. Warm but felt that too was dirty so got out. Other review said happy friendly staff, I saw none. They didn't acknowledge you unless you spoke first. Not the best customer service in my opinion. Worst part.. food. We went half.board but ate out mostly . Cold food ,unamingative, plain ,bland. Buffet style ,help yourself as standard . We paid cheap with Easyjet for 4nights so it was doable. Situated up hill near the market / capistrano village urbanisation , a good 30min stroll to Balcon de Europe. 20min walk to bus station/ stops Positives are - Pool area is a sun trap and a nice area to sunbathe and that's about it really. We are all different so maybe this is someone's cup of tea just not ours. We expect a bit better customer service at least. I'd say suitable.for the older generation as not alot going on in the hotel . Think a singer comes a few times a week. Oh and if you.like football there are 7 TV screens in the tiny sports bar adjoined to the hotel.

We returned yesterday from Nerja Club and can't praise it enough! Our room was just as we requested with a nice view & a large terrace complete with sun loungers & table & chairs. Beds were comfortable & bathroom was fine although a walk in shower would be an improvement! Everything was very clean. The staff were so friendly & the bar staff were amazing. Always cleaning & wiping down tables. Wonderful stay & highly recommend.

After reading some reviews I was a bit wary as I had already book hotel , but honestly it exceeded my expectations. It’s about a half hour walk into the centre of Nerja , and that’s jsut taking out time observing what’s around . About 10 /15 min down to the beach and up a gentle bank back up to hotel . Nothing to moan about . One the plus side a taxi up to the Nerja caves was 7euros (ten min taxi ride ) but we decided to walk back to hotel which was easy and walked passed the aqueduct on way back which is a must see . We were bed and breakfast and evening meal which was absolutely fine . No queuing at all for either sittings . Pool area was lovely and peaceful and pool was so warm . There’s plenty of sun-beds on the terrace no one seems to make a dash for them . It’s a very friendly hotel with lovely and polite staff . Please don’t take any notice of some reviews as honestly it’s a great little hotel . Forgot to mention the market of Nerja is ten mins up the road as well .

You can't fault this hotel we were gen a pool view balcony room was fine and clean The staff were amazing.always helpful& happy.we went 13 nights and came back yesterday.i have just booked again for September for 12 nights.The only thing I would say the food could do with a bit of improvement but overall its a fabulous Hotel.Thank you to all the lovely staff see you in sept..

Just had the most fantastic holiday here.. the staff are very welcoming and friendly.. the rooms and hotel are clean and serviced every day .. the breakfast you couldn’t want for more and plenty of choice as is the evening meal.. the pool area is great for sunbathing or just having a morning coffee.. yes it’s a walk into Nerja but a very pleasant one.. second year running for us and will definitely be back.. thank you hotel Nerja
