Festa Panorama Hotel

As soon as you enter the hotel, the fragrance hits you, smells just like a spa. The hotel staff are so friendly, and the gentleman that helps with your baggage to your room is kind and friendly. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean with a modern twist, only thing is lack of clothes hangers. The pool area is lovely and food and drink were delicious, if you are a person who only likes British food, this is not the hotel for you, it's a mixture of Mediterranean and Bulgarian native dishes which were AMAZING. Entertainment was good too, something for everyone. The bathroom contains shower gel, shampoo and hand soap with the fragrance of similar to lemongrass and bergamot. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Bulgaria and Hayes travel to book with. They understood our BUDGET better than TUI/Thomson/Thomas Cook.

Came here for a no fuss break with my daughter for my birthday. We arrived at the hotel around midnight along with around 45 other passengers from our flight to find just one receptionist, so check in was lengthy. We were given one room card between the two of us. We made it to the room and literally fell into bed - which were very comfortable. After a long day’s travelling we slept well, unfortunately meaning we missed breakfast, as we had not been told the restaurant shut at 10am. The rooms were nice but not yet finished- no handles on the desk unit, no fridge etc. We were given a kettle on day three of our break. My daughter had asked for a cake to be delivered to our room for my birthday morning. We returned from breakfast to find a birthday cake, together with plates, forks and serving slice alongside a bottle of Prosecco and glasses. The attention to detail was much appreciated. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well situated to walk to old Nessebar or sunny beach. On the negative I have a food allergy and while the main courses are labelled there is no information regarding the desserts. I did ask staff, who asked supervisor, who asked chef, and eventually I was told ‘ I think you can eat any of it except that one’. I gave up. We thought we might treat ourselves to massages, we went to reception where there was a price list and were told we needed to go down to the relax zone. We went down to find an empty reception. Eventually a chap turned up, having been outside smoking, and asked which massage we wanted to book. We were trying to remember the list from upstairs as he didn’t have a copy. We decided we would go with a relaxing massage, he then said we needed to pay cash as he couldn’t take card payments, he followed this by saying we would have to book slots one after each other as he was on his own. This was all starting to feel a bit awkward so we decided not to go ahead. This is definitely an area for improvement.

This hotel WILL be lovely when everything is in place, but it only reopened on the 15th June. We travelled with TUI and there is no way TUI inspected this hotel before their customers arrived!! Not good for a big company. We arrived on the 16th June and had to wait 3 hours to check in at the hotel, only one computer working. No explanation, no food or drink offered. Most of the staff were new and didn’t know anything and no hotel management around either. Poor customer services when we reached the front of the queue by the reception manager, no apology no nothing. The rooms were not as described, no toiletries, no iron, no hangers, no bath, no toilet brush and no mini fridge either. The room was newly refurbed but not finished. Reception had no answers or solutions to any problems. The pool bar is open but not serving any food, the inside spa and pool area is lovely but not staffed so no massages etc. Also there is no evening entertainment at all so having to spend money in the evenings to go out. Apart from the reception manager all other staff have been friendly. Housekeeping in the room is hit and miss too. On a positive note the food has been lovely, probably the best we’ve had at an all inclusive, great choice and fresh. This hotel should have postponed opening until everything was in place. I would come here again as long as everything was as advertised.

Check-in Took 7 hours for us to get all the keys. Only given £50 TUI voucher as compensation and little to no apology. Reception staff were somewhat rude and did not clarify what was taking so long. Food and Drinks Lacks variety and very basic. Bland desserts. Most alcohol costs. Alcoholic drinks are awful, bar tenders use machines to make cocktails. Worst hotel I have been in for food and drinks. Staff Understaffed. Maximum 2 receptionists, even when queues are huge. Takes ages for waiters to clear tables. Maids do not make the bed properly. Animation team are polite and engaging. Rooms Well decorated, but missing key things e.g. hangers, mini fridges, hand soap. Safe is broken. AC is difficult to use. Given rooms on completely different floors to my group. Location Near some decent shops, including a supermarket. Beach is a 5 minute walk away. Misc. No mini-shop inside of the hotel to buy snacks.

We have just got back from a week away for our honeymoon my husband 10 month old son and myself. This is my honest review of the place. We arrived at 2.30 pm and our room was ready so we were able to check straight in. We had room 101 this was perfect for us as it was ground floor with a balcony and side sea view. Rooms: Were spacious with a huge bed. Fresh water every day, very cold fridge and bedding changed regularly. The rooms were carpeted which I found unusual and the bathrooms were quite dated but was fully functional. Pool area: You needed to be up early to get a sunbed with some shade as in August it was very hot. Entertainment was around the pool every day but Monday. They work very hard and work very long hours. The pool bar often there was a queue but this moved quite fast. There was also food which was a seperate queue the lady who served there at times could be abrupt. There was also plenty of different ice lolly’s included in the all inclusive. Food: Was something to eat for most people and lots of yummy salads and different fish/meats to try. We went early at 6.30 in the evening but got busy very quickly. Only suggestion for food would be more of a children’s menu with plainer foods although my ten month old tried most things. Entertainment There were different shows each night in the amphitheater however, to access this it is quite steep and not ideal for everyone. We did try watching from the grass area but the mosquitoes came out. Local area This hotel is located in what appears to be a somewhat residential area. There are plenty of shops within walking distance and old nessebar is only about a 20 minute stroll. I would highly recommend the old town. There is a train for 6 bgn (just under £3 each) and they stop back near the hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach but this was very busy but to be expected in August. We visited sunny beach whilst there and we prefer nessebar sunny beach was very busy. Overall we had a lovely week, would consider visiting again but maybe when my son is a little older so he can enjoy some of the entertainment more.

The worst holiday I have ever been on, room had damp in its also all over the hotel where you’ll find patches of paint trying to cover it there stains all over the carpets, all inclusive was absolutely disgusting DO NOT cater for vegetarians. They don’t even know what blackcurrant juice was so I was spending loads of money for my son to drink he’s lived on chips as that’s all there is for him to eat. The staff here are so RUDE I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life we got shouted at 10am in the lobby for speaking wouldn’t think we was adults the staff in there restaurant looked at me and shook my head because I put some pasta on my daughters plate. You get looked at like your a piece of crap by everyone you wouldn’t think you’ve just spent thousands to stay in there grotty hotel. My kids wanted to play pool so I told him the machine wasn’t working he then tried telling me to put coins in when I explained I did he come over with an attitude towards me overall the worst experience I’ve ever had the list could go on and on and on. I had dirty glasses left in my room for 4 days there was dust every where sticky marks nothing was cleaned just beds made absolutely disgusting
