Stayed at the cutest bed and breakfast in New Bern this weekend to celebrate our upcoming 2nd year wedding anniversary! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Linda the hostess is the sweetest lady! The whole place is very cozy. Upon arrival Linda gave us a few history facts about the place while on the way to show us to our room, she also makes the breakfast every morning! Not only were they delicious but they were also very healthy and pleasant! Our lazy weekend away involved dinner at Annabelle’s Friday night (an ode to our caterer for the wedding, plus it’s one of our fav places), Saturdays breakfast at the bed and breakfast was a yummy fruit parfait and then a big ol’ portion of raspberry stuffed French toast! For lunch we ate at Gemelli Italian deli & bakery then dinner we ate at The Bay Leaf for some fantastic Indian food! Every meal by the way all day Saturday was absolutely delicious! Then for breakfast this morning at the bed and breakfast we were served a blueberry cobbler and then a spinach frittata with a side of sausage patties. Again, delicious and healthy! Saturday we did walk around a bit and then ended up taking a nap after lunch but we definitely enjoyed our little weekend away (not too far away) and I for one am planning on having another stay at The Meadow’s Inn Bed & Breakfast! If you are wanting to get out of town for the weekend but don’t want to go too far, stay at The Meadow’s Inn!

Everything about the Meadows Inn is perfection. From the moment you step onto the quintessential, southern back porch, perfect for lounging and reading, you feel at home. When you walk through the door and are met by Linda, you know you're home. She treats her guests like family. The breakfasts are delicious, not to mention the scrumptious, daily, fresh baked treats that are available in thecdining room throughout the day. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with comfy beds that just beckon sweet dreams at the end of the day. The location rounds out the complete package - close to the river for morning sunrise walks or fishing from the pier and near to historic homes, buildings, churches, and shops. We won't stay anywhere else when in New Bern!

What a great place! Very convenient location to downtown. You can walk to everything that New Bern has to offer. Linda, the host and owner is easily one of the most nicest person I’ve met. Linda is so accommodating and a darn good cook to boot. I highly recommend this B & B if you’re going to visit New Bern!

Linda and staff are wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious. There were snackies for my wife. We stayed in the Croatan room and couldn’t have been more pleased. The bed is very comfortable. There are two chairs and tables. The bathroom was very nice. When in New Bern, this will be our go-to place.

The Inn is a New Bern treasure! Excellent accommodations, attentive and caring proprietor, excellent breakfast, perfect location, all in easy walking distance of New Bern’s beautiful and historic downtown. I am looking forward to my next visit!

We were within walking distance to the river, shops and restaurants. Linda was a wonderful host and her breakfasts were over-the-top. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to New Bern. She recommended the trolly tour and it was very informative and enjoyable.

The Meadows Inn is located in charming Old Town New Bern and near the river. the Inn is run by Linda and a very Friendly Staff. We had to leave early one morning and the owner Linda got up early and made us breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful visit to Meadows Inn last week. The room (Croation Suite) was roomy and comfortable. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The breakfast was outstanding every day. Linda, the host, is so welcoming and accommodating. The location is excellent...walking distance to the river and to all the downtown shops and restaurants. We plan to stay at Meadows Inn for all our future visits to New Bern. Highly recommend!
