We have stayed at this property since 2000, when we stayed for 3 months, we have since been back many times. this is an email I sent to the management after our stay for one week. No reply was seen after 3 weeks so I sent a prompt to get a reply and got a wonderful reply of 'thanks for your feedback' For the first time out of very many visits over the years to this Property we are finding ourselves having to point out inadequacies in this accommodation. In the Covid climate we are now living with in this country, the cleanliness of this Unit is in a disgraceful state. We arrived late on the 5th January and entered our allotted unit 504. Kicking off my shoes I walked across the kitchen floor to put the kettle on. The floor felt oily and sticky under foot. In an effort to get the air conditioner in the main bedroom to work, we removed the front of the unit (the batteries in the remote are most probably flat). The filters were so thick with dust we just had to clear them. On checking the air conditioner filters in the lounge area, we found they are also in need of cleaning. The two bedside tables in the main bedroom both had some kind of clear goo on them. We are not sure even what it was. On rising the next morning, we observed that there were sticky smudge and food marks on both the glass dining room table and kitchen benches. The fridge needed to be wiped out as there were crumbs and old dried spilt milk evident. These were very easily removed (by us) later the next day with a chux and hot soapy water (after the cleaner had “serviced” the apartment). The balcony glass door is covered in dirty/ smudgy finger marks The carpets do not appear to have been vacuumed very thoroughly if at all. The laundry sink has black hairs and unknown other ‘stuff’ in it, the clothes dryer filter has a thick mat of fluff in it and the floor behindthe door is filthy. The other bathroom tub has black hairs and a used face washer in it. All the tiled areas in the bathroom have a layer of grime that rolls up into a ball of dirt/dust when you wipe it with your finger. We are most disappointed with our visit this time. At $185 a night we would have liked to have had a much cleaner place to stay. I spoke to you on the morning of the 6th January. you told me you would personally attend to the issues. Thank you for cleaning the floor and for the tea towels, pillow slips and chux. My Husband spoke to you on the 7th when he paid our account, you told him you would send the cleaners up. We didn’t see them at all. We recommend that the owners of this unit are notified of the few minor maintenance issues and that it is given a professional clean to bring it up to a healthy standard.

We booked a superior 2 bedroom for our stay with our two teenage boys. We arrived before 10am and were lucky enough that we were able to check straight into our room. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. We were in 204. It is one of the side /corner apartments. It has a long corridor where the bedrooms come off and then the kitchen/dining area. It has a smaller balcony, but big enough for two people to sit comfortably for a coffee or sunset drink. Our apartment faced the city and the view from the living room/kitchen windows was amazing. All up the apartment is a comfortable size. Kitchen was well equipped. Laundry was fine, both bathrooms were a good size. No air con in the second room but it was ok temperature even in December. Some road noise. Our boys loved the tennis court (borrow racquets and balls from reception) and pool, and we used the bbq to cook dinner. View of the river /city was spectacular, even at level 2. We used the free City Hopper ferry transport and paid ferries to get around. Easy walk to Coles (but not super close - 1.5k) and New Farm Deli. Good walks along the river to New Farm park or into the city. Double shot across the road was good! Easy delivery of food via Uber Eats. Free wifi, we accessed Netflix. We enjoyed our stay and love the location and tennis court.
