Hotel Saint Vincent

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Hotel St Vincent did not disappoint. The rich history, colorful design and friendly staff (from the front desk to the pool deck) exceeded our expectations! We look forward to returning on our next visit to NOLA ⚜️

I had heard great things about this property from friends who vacationed there so I took advantage of their summer sales deal for a quick solo trip to New Orleans. I didn't want to leave! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member I spoke with was kind, helpful and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed -- especially as a solo traveler. My room was extremely spacious and comfortable, not to mention stylish. It felt like a little private oasis in the middle of a city. I will definitely be returning.

I dine out quite often, and I work at a restaurant myself; from start to finish, this was a fantastic experience. Young Mike made my birthday incredibly special. Food was on point, service was excellent! From top to bottom, the place was immaculate!

Warning: visiting NO in summer is a BAD idea. The city literally steams with heat and humidity. After a few minutes of walking around the French Quarter we were drenched with sweat. Yuck I know. So coming back to a CLEAN and comfortable hotel room is an absolute must if you’re visiting in the summer. And Hotel Saint Vincent. The hotel started as a 19th century orphanage and definitely maintains that old southern mansion feel in decor and vibe. There’s also a heated pool that was right outside of our suites which the kiddos loved. We tried the breakfast at the Italian restaurant once and it was decent but pricey. Service was friendly and responsive with ONE exception. When we checked in the porter was just standing at the front desk and literally just stood and watched me struggle to haul all of our luggage up the stairs. No offer to help, nothing. When I walked up to check in he just pointed with his finger to the gentleman next to him I guess indicating he was only the porter. But one that was not helping with luggage apparently. Only AFTER we checked in did he finally come over and offer to help with our luggage. Never seen that type of service before at this level of hotel and I was prepared to leave 3 stars just for that but the rest of the staff and stay overcame this initial anomaly. But the gentleman definitely needs some coaching up. If you’re looking for something outside the French Quarter that is safe clean and comfortable, Saint Vincent should top your list.

San Lorenzo at Hotel Saint Vincent was everything I hoped it would be and more. The atmosphere was elegant yet approachable, and sitting outside near the courtyard added to the charm. Each dish felt intentional and beautifully crafted. “Young Mike,” our waiter, deserves special mention. His knowledge of wine wasn’t just impressive, it was transformative. Every pairing elevated the meal in ways I didn’t expect. This wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly and can’t wait to return.

We chose to have Hotel Saint Vincent to host our Bachelor/Bachelorette party with friends and family. There is no better place in the world to host a celebration with loved ones than Hotel Saint Vincent. The hotel is beautiful and impeccably decorated, from the common areas to the rooms every detail is tastefully arranged. The pool area is an oasis that is relaxing during the week and set for fun on weekends. The food at Lorenzo is incredible - there is no better luxury than the club sandwich eaten poolside. But the cherry on top is the wonderful staff - they went above & beyond consistently to ensure our weekend was an unforgettable one. Thank you to Hotel Saint Vincent - I am already planning my next trip back.
