SHANGER HOTEL recensioner

Stayed 3N2D. Got no heater in the room. It was cold at night during the winter. Got tub and water heater which is good. Toiletries are given when asked. The room space is quite big for a solo person but enough to get around and sleep.

Shanger hotel is very near to Sanchong MRT station and in Sanchong Airport MRT station. The walking time from the hotel to the MRT station is just 10 minutes to 15 minutes. The hotel staff are very approachable.

I only stay a night, okay for me for this price.

I returned to this exact hotel room one year later. The fire alarm still goes off from the steam coming off the hot shower, but you have a bathtub and great water pressure. The deluxe room puts facing a drab courtyard but you get a glass tiled pillar in your room. The cheaper rooms will face the street. Still feels like a place from the 1970s. Still recommended for solo trips. Cheap.

Awesome classic hotel in Taipei. I love its classic vibe. The only downside is they don't have couches or sofas in the lobby.

Hotel situated in Sanchong district with good access and proximity to buses and trains heading downtown! With bathtub and comfy bed too :)

Location is a little far fron the Sanchong station but still walkable. Service from the staff was great. Rooms are carpeted so there were stain om the floor which made the place looks more dirty but otherwise everything else was clean!

The hotel is far from the MRT station, but there are many bus stops around the hotel. The front desk girls are nice. 👍🏻 The space of the lift is very small that can only carry two people with two suitcases. There was quite dirty in the bathroom, a lot of hairs on the ground and in the bathtub and the exhaust fan was not work at all.😰 At the check out day we got a call on 10:40am that to remind us need to check out at 11am......

Generally the experience was okay. It is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. The only thing I would really criticize is the cleanliness as well as style state of the furniture and bathroom. It’s very old and I didn’t really feel comfortable. The location is okay, about an 8min walk to the next MRT.

Staff are very friendly and helpful! They were able to provide a room which accommodates my need. It would be great if they can install shower curtains.

Professional staff, good but pls bring your personal toothbrush, toothpaste for all Taiwan trip due to cutting down on disposables which is a good thing. Centralized Aircon was very cold ( I think it was like about 15 degree Celsius)

The place serves its purpose, so if you are only there to stay the night, it has all you need and the price is decent for solo traveling. Location is also well located, there are plenty of accessible foods around the area. If you are expecting more from the hotel like environment and modernization, this is not your place.

Central Aircon so the temperature cannot be controlled so maybe not suitable for me. Weekday daytime can be noisy as windows facing the road but at night all is quiet
