Service could be better

Clean, comfortable, spacious room with a King bed. Everything worked, including good wi-fi. Having parking available is an incredible plus for those of us who are driving. Very safe, interesting neighborhood, with a wide variety of restaurants and the Woodside metro within a 15 minute walk. An amazing value for NYC. The check-in/check-out process here is unbelievable, and not in a good way. It took at least ten minutes per person to check in each of the two parties that were waiting when I arrived, and another 10 for me. The amount of paper shuffling is incredible! They tell you up front to allow 15 minutes for checkout, and they mean it. Hard to understand. The other thing was "breakfast". Toast with jelly (no butter), ramen noodles, milk, juice and hot water. And fruit loops. The other things in the photos: fruit, hardboiled eggs, steamed buns...none of it was there when we stayed there. If they actually advertised breakfast, I'd drop them another point for this, but they don't. Still, they ought to get rid of the if this photo if this the best they can do.

The room itself is fine for its value . Rooms were clean and bathrooms updated. However, thumping on the walls and moaning kept us up all night. It was awful. Now this could happen at any hotel but this particular hotel encourages this by renting rooms out by the hour. They have an hourly price list at the front desk. Hourly rates end at 10:30 pm but it must be a frequented venue for the local sex worker business at any hour. I only wish we could have changed hotels but it was the weekend of the marathon and we were stuck there.

Stayed here for 7 nights in April. Perfect hotel to explore the city and further afield. Bus stop outside does the whole lebgth of Queens Boulevard in both directions. Few mins walk to Woodside subway or get the bus to Sunnyside and subway is directly in front of the bus stop. CVS is also at the busstop in Sunnyside so handy for essentials. Staff lovely and friendly and there for questions if needed at all hours of say and night. Rooms basic but well kept and clean what more do you want. No food or drink served but thats the same in a lot of places at this pricepoint and above and there is an abundance of eateries and places to drink about. All in all hightly reccomend.

We arrived very late, and the night staff were very rude . The rooms were a great size and beds good. But... There was no tea coffee making facilities even though it appeared to be in hotel photos. The rooms could use some maintenance, and pillows replacing. Location was handy to both airports and near a subway station. Wouldn't stay again unless got a really good deal.

If you need a comfortable bed, good shower (toiletries provided) and don’t plan to be in your room much, this place is good value for money. There’s access to public transportation within a ten minute walk and places/shops very nearby to get supplies. Room didn’t have kettle or iron but otherwise fine. Staff were very helpful and as a lone female traveler, I felt safe there. It’s not the ritz for sure but I liked it.

a small and simple hotel, yet great for what it was. good value for money, rooms are decently big and very clean. obviously not the prime location for NYC as not in manhattan but for the price you really can’t beat it - it’s also only a 10 minute walk from the subway station which really isn’t that bad, we still found it easy to get to manhattan. also convenient shops around, and a relatively quiet area. would def recommend and stay here again if on a budget.

The room was big with also a big desk and big bed. The service took care of the room every day. It has been a good deal when I booked this room. It is minor but the shower was tricky and I almost risked to break it.

Thanks for such a lovely stay in queens.. hotel was spotless and all the staff were very helpful! Plenty of shops nearby including dunkin, subway and dominos right across the road. Also a lovely pizza place Woodside pizza about a 5 minute walk. Thanks again would return
