Now Now NoHo

I’m very disappointed in this place. Firstly, unless you book a female only dorm, you’re on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator. The rooms are not totally separated as the wall doesn’t go all the way up so you heard a lot of noise. The doors are very noisy opening and closing and the noise from the outside is just about bearable. The noise from the showers is terrible as you can hear when someone is in the shower when you’re in your room. The showers are terrible. Out of my 3 night stay, I only had 1 decent shower because the first day there was very little pressure and the hot water ran out really quickly. On the second day there was no water when I tried to shower both in the morning and evening and when I reported it to the reception I was told “I just got back from vacation so I don’t know what to do”, yeah but you’re back now so maybe your job? The next morning there was water pressure and I could have a decent shower, although after around 5 minutes or so the hot water started going but I’d finished showering by then. The basins in the bathroom stink. The beds are quite comfortable though but I would’ve rather paid a little extra for the bigger room because it is tiny. Just about have enough space to move around and get dressed. Needless to say I will not be staying here again as I’m very disappointed and would rather pay half the price for a decent hostel than this hybrid rubbish.

I stayed for 5 nights. Pros: - unbeatable location for the price - great neighbourhood, felt super safe, and close to subway options - very clean, in the pod and the shared bathrooms - nice staff Cons: - open roof means all sounds filter through, including the loud door closures, and some people not following the rules, playing videos out loud - no elevator was really difficult with heavy luggage! - you can’t eat in the pod

Room was comfortable. Bathrooms clean. No amenities. Compared to other hostels, this was a nice experience to have a private bedroom. I paid extra for a larger room. Standard rooms are the size of the bed and nightstand. Do not stay here with large bags, there is not an elevator and you will need to lug your bags up to 5 levels.

I had really good sleep during my stay. The room was very cozy. Toiletries (towel, body wash, shampoo) were provided. The shower room was very clean and the body wash and shampoo smell amazing. Check in and out were quick and straight forward. I also really like how aesthetic the whole place is. Would definitely recommend for solo travellers.

Love the location, so convenient, the hostel is really clean and safe for solo travelers.

Enjoyed my 3 night stay at Now Now NoHo. Recommend to stay the 5m² room. Just nice. Thankful the hotel provided staff to help bring heavy luggage to the upstairs. It is not noisy at all. Location quite good. I didnt know the hotel provided free slippers as I didnt see my mine throughout the whole journey. The female side of bathroom needs to be cleaned more.

I enjoyed my stay here, but for me, if you have big luggage, this is not an ideal place to stay. It’s hard to open your luggage in the room because it’s too small. I think this accommodation is better for interstate trips or if you’re trying to save money—you can still manage though. I also thought all floors had a hair dryer, especially the women’s floor where I stayed, but there wasn’t any. The rest was okay. Just be prepared that there is no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs.

I really don’t know what to say about this hotel, it was just for a night. If is one night it’s okay, but I won’t do more then that. They said is a great experience this hotel but I think is overrated for the price you pay. Specially is you want to go toilet in the middle of the night, because the shower and the toilet is on the corridor, get ready to wait or in my case a lady she got so scare of me bless her because she was not expect me when she open the toilet door. Also is not as clean as they said. But!!!! There is a nice coffee shop down the street call Adios Amigos I believe, one of the best coffee I had nyc.
