Rummets faciliteter är mycket enkla och består av endast ett bord, stolar, en spegel, ett värdeskåp, några klädhängare och en våningssäng. När du sitter på den nedre sängen kan du inte sitta upprätt eftersom huvudet kommer att träffa den övre sängen. Golv och väggar är smutsiga. Du måste dela badrum med andra, och hygienen är inte särskilt bra. Det finns ingen tandkräm, tandborste, duschgel, schampo, hårtork eller tofflor, och inte ens en flaska vatten. Åtminstone personalen i incheckningslobbyn är vänlig, och sängen är mjuk och bekväm, även om den är lite bullrig. Lyckligtvis bokade jag det bara för en natt.

Personalen är mycket vänlig. En plats med mycket folk som kommer och går, men tyst trots det. Vänliga gäster också. Jag gillade inte att de tar betalt för lagring i några timmar. Allt var mycket rent, många badrum var alltid oklanderliga och det fanns alltid ett tillgängligt. Mycket bra pris/kvalitetsförhållande, rekommenderas starkt.

This is not a normal hotel, but it really is great, you have everything you need, is clean, beds and pillows are comfy, it is a small room though but is all you need if you are looking for a good place to sleep while you are in NY and it has great location, 5 min walking to central park or 20 min walking to time square. Absolutely love it.

For its price and location, you can never go wrong. Room is clean though doesn’t provide amenities like water. Just towels. It’s in the corner of central park and lots of coffee shop and stores nearby. Near bus stop and subway. Can walk to timesquare. Bathroom is shared but always clean. Will stay again if I can go back to NYC

it was pretty great price wise for the location it’s at! i’d definelty recommend if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom ^^ Times Square is just at a ~15-20 min walking distance!

Not bad for solo travelling for a day in the heart of NY

I was a bit daunted by reviews when booking but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, you get what you pay for (and a bit more). It’s a hostel with private rooms, not a hotel. Once you realize that, you manage your expectations. It is in a prime location next to Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. It is near a metro station and there are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was adequate (I booked a single room). It was clean and comfortable. Inside the room was a small tv, a small refrigerator, a desk a twin bed and a small closet area. I wasn’t too concerned about the room because I didn’t intend to spend much time in there but it was comfortable enough for my stay. The bathrooms are shared but are privately used so you don’t actually share it with anyone while using. It was always clean and regularly checked (but of course as they are shared some people clear up after themselves better than others). There were several so I never needed to wait more than a few mins. The shower pressure was fine and the water temperature was perfect for me. Even though you pay for gym and facility use when you stay, I never used them so can’t comment on them. The checkin and check out processes were easy. The staff were all friend and helpful. The building felt safe and I never felt worried about anything. I don’t really have any negatives to comment on. There was a little noise at time from other residents but that’s beyond the control of the staff etc.
