Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave - Chelsea, an IHG Hotel recensioner

no elevator working. ita redicu. one week and now still dont have. need to take stairs up and down. really tired. feel afraid to get out of room.

Our flight was cancelled and we couldn’t make the reservation, provided all the necessary proof that it wasn’t in our hands but still charged full price and didn’t offer any form of help whatsoever.

The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. The hotel rooms are not large but they are clean and tidy, and they come with a safe and a hairdryer. Breakfast is free and includes fruits and juices, as well as bagels, cupcakes, and nut bars. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go. The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. At that moment I found out I had given her the wrong room number. I am truly very grateful to her. I will stay in the Holiday Inn again.

Everything was good but room was a little too crowded. Staff was very friendly.

The management of this particular Holiday Inn could do much better in providing amenities such as a CLOCK. The hotel is poorly designed and in disrepair. The counter space in my bathroom was practically non-existent. The placement of the desk and chair directly underneath the television is illogical. Although the Holiday Inn is now owned and operated by IHG, that's no excuse to denigrate the reputation of this once great hotel chain. I will be traveling to Amarillo, Texas later on this month and staying at another Holiday Inn. I dare say, that the look and feel of the facility will be a 180 degree turn from the one in Chelsea. Pretty shameful

Our stay was accommodating. Fantastic location. The bedding was super comfortable, but the beds were small. Says it sleeps 4, but should have been 2. The bathroom was tiny too. The lobby restaurant was under construction. They had fruit, bagels and muffins in the lobby. We paid over $330 per night. I know it’s NYC, but wow.

Absolutely loved the city view of this room. The room was quite spacious and clean, great service, and free bag check after checkout. Will definitely be coming back.

We were there when they were doing maintenance. It was okay its a good stay for a day..

There was no curtains in the room and they couldnt do anything about it. terrible.

Best place to stay. Fast check in. Amazing staff. Good services near the hotel. Rooms are big. Amenities as shampoo Dove. I am really recommend this hotel. I will be returning again as a soon as possible.

Check in staff were nice and accommodating. The room was quite large for Manhattan. There was a dark stain on the bed sheet, some mold in the bathroom and the extractor fan was very dusty. But overall not bad value for money.
