Great service staff, okay location but its really not such a great hotel. Will think twice before coming again.
I stayed at this Four Points in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan for two nights in September. The hotel has a friendly and accommodating staff. For me, the highlight is the location . . . a short walk to many great restaurants and shops. Additionally, the property is a quick subway ride to Penn Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Rooms are clean but somewhat basic. On-site breakfast is an option but I dined outside the hotel. If you're looking for a reasonably economical choice in a great location, the Four Points may be a good option for your New York visit.

In general my family had a good experience. The room is typical for Manhattan standards, it’s small. The service people are wonderful and the lobby staff is friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous. It’s on the western edge of SOHO so you are close enough to SOHO, the Village, and Chinatown all within walking distance and far enough to all the activities and noise. There are several subway lines within a two block walk. The only complaint would be that the lobby is small with very limited seating. Again, typical Manhattan standards. However, I would definitely stay here again.

I stay at this hotel frequently for work and it's one of my favorites in the area. It's around the corner from my office, which makes it extremely convient. The rooms aren't terribly small (much better size than other hotels in the area) and the beds are comfortable. One thing to note, if you're staying on a lower floor, it can be a little loud at night dur to construction in the area. Staff is wonderful and if there isn't a room ready when I get in, they always call when I can check in. Restuarant is very good too!

The staff upon arrival is either extremely stressed or lacks any aspect of customer service. The software system apparently has been down for days so check in requires lots of paperwork and filling out forms for credit cards manually. My room bathroom was maybe updated and then the construction crew left mid way thru. Molding is hanging or just not existent. There are no garbage cans anywhere and the thermostat is broken so the room temp is 78, while the AC is on. Happy for a single night stay for $400 plus. One and down.

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of staying at the four points in SoHo and it was everything I could have hoped for. Angie was a great help in making my experience a good one. She gave me everything I needed and even gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation in the area. It was my first time staying at the four points and I can confidently say that it won't be my last. I can't wait to come back.

Room was clean and had a safe and coffee maker; however, it lacked a microwave and refrigerator. Price was reasonable for the SOHO location. Close to the Houston St. subway station. The hotel served coffee and a few rolls in the lobby in the morning. Try to get a high floor away from the elevators to avoid the street noise. There is a nice coffee shop right across the street from the hotel called Seven Grams and Essen offers good informal breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals. I was not overly impressed with the Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel and would rate is as average; however, there are plenty of other excellent dinning locations close to the hotel. The Westville restaurant was quite good and reasonable and within two blocks of the hotel. I recommend this place especially if you can get a high room with a north facing view and are planning to stay in SOHO. I felt relatively safe walking the streets of SOHO during the day and early evening. Rooms were on the small size but it is Manhattan and were sufficient for up to two people.
