The Keadeen Hotel

A nice hotel. Dated in most of the rooms and the lamps, furnishings etc could be updated. A short walk to Newbridge and a petrol station across the road. Music or general noise from the main room could not be heard in the bedrooms that any of the 4 rooms our party had booked. The restaurant food was incredibly bland. We had the wings, black pudding, goats cheese, haddock, hake. All fine, just missing something. A lot of older people appear to frequent this hotel too

This was a last minute overnight stay for my partner's 60th birthday. When we checked in our room had been upgraded to a suite, which was so lovely. most of the rooms seem to have views over well kept gardens. The staff were plentiful and all knew what they were doing. Food was really good and not overpriced. Breakfast was delicious. The leisure centre had a decent sized pool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Staff very helpful. Great breakfast and dinner. However despite check in being 3pm we didn't get into our room until 4:15pm. Rooms were suppose to be deluxe but a lot of items missing such as dressing gowns and toiletries. Radiator was broken so couldn't turn heat on. Heated towel rack also broken. Leisure centre needs a revamp. Pool was dirty and cold. Jacuzzi was cold. Leisure centre was closed at 5:30pm so having only gotten into rooms after 4.

We went to our friend’s wedding and stayed the night. What an amazing hotel.. from start to finish. Staff were very professional and always at hand. Very courteous kind and hardworking, makes your experience that more enjoyable. Food was amazing from main meals, breakfast and coffees. I would highly recommend. Great to see such high standard at an amazing hotel ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a lovely hotel, the team at the Keadeen were exceptional. The food was excellent and the friendliness of the hotel team was incredible. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. Could not recommend those hotel highly enough

Well yet again Keadeen show their absolute top quality from the moment we arrived till we left. The staff are so friendly and helpful Melissa and Rita just two l can name . The sun was shining so the ceremony took place in the amphitheatre it was so beautiful. The food was as always absolutely perfect the beef just melted in the mouth and my favourite dessert roulade no where else makes it so perfectly. The hotel is spotless and setting up for the music you can wait in the stunning gardens or another garden room. The smell of flowers greets you inside and out with the beautiful centre pieces. Keadeen is such a valuable asset in the town, the perfect mix of staff food and service is provided. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We got married in the Keadeen Hotel on 1st June 2024, I truly believe you won’t find another hotel out there where you will be looked after and treated better. The Keadeen is a family run hotel and you can feel this vibe throughout the hotel , it’s almost like the staff feel like family throughout your whole stay. The food is top class and plenty of it, all our guests complimented the food. The ballroom is breathtaking and you dont have to worry about decorating it as they do the most beautiful job. We got married in their outdoor ampitheathre and all i can say is WOW! A little piece of heaven on heart , we had planned a church wedding until we had seen this. The hotel also do an amazing job decorating this. The bridal suite is the best I have seen and beautiful for photos. The staff cannot do enough for you and you get a real feel from them all that they love what they do , this hotel could run courses on how hotels should be run. If i could offer any bride to be some advice ot would be book The Keadeen , you are guaranteed the most perfect, magical day. Thank you to all the staff at the Keadeen for a day we will never forget. Did not stay in hotel, but as a local in Newbridge had lunch several times in bar can’t fault staff but would like to know why if I prefer not to go for the mash potatoes as I found them too wet for my liking and opted for chips and vegs only to be told I could only have chips with side salad and would be charged extra if I wanted to go with the veg , not making sense to me , hope someone can answer this for me

We’ve been here several times over the years but this was our first visit since 2016. Unfortunately nothing has been done to the bedrooms over the years. The bathroom has the dreaded old shower over bath but also the bathroom generally is so dated it belongs in the 1970’s. That’s the only bad news. We ate in the hotel on both evenings and have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and hardworking. They served drinks, served food, tidied efficiently and checked if everything was ok regularly. The food was excellent throughout - starters, mains and desserts.
