A very well maintained hotel. Decent size room, which was clean and comfortable. A 10 minute drive to Newbury. Only downside was the terrible mobile phone reception, but that isn't the fault of the hotel.

The staff where amazing. Kelly and Dennis really went out of the way to make our stay good. Would highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and big. There is also a McDonalds near by and other shops. There's nothing I can say bad about this hotel

My young son and I had to divert into here for an emergency stay due to the A34 not being gritted with salt before a snowstorm. Stressed in trying to logon to the website to get a room, Jayne on the desk was amazing and helped me sort one for the night. The room itself was ideal..clean, spacious and warm. If Jayne hadn’t helped us I don’t know what we’d have done..especially as the heating in my car doesn’t work!! A big thanks from us.

I would never normally comment on platforms like this in your typical budget hotel, but my wife and I were just amazed at how welcome we felt. We walked in to be greeted by Jayne, genuinely felt like she first of all wanted to be there and second of all felt like us having a good stay meant the world to her. You don’t get this in your typical Travelodge and it made us feel really special.

Yesterday (25.12.2024) of all days me, my husband and daughter (9 months old) broke down at Tot hill Services. We went over to travel lodge to sit in the warm whilst we wait for recovery. Upon arrival and after explaining our situation Jayne was an absolute super star! So friendly and accomodating. She played with my daughter and was just an absolute saviour! For the 4/5 hours we were there Jayne being so friendly and kind saved a lot of stress! A very unusual 1st Christmas for my daughter but definitely the most rememberable one! Once again if you see this Jayne you are a superstar and we are all so very grateful

Absolutely amazing staff especially the supervise jayne and her colleague Diane they are friendly and easy to talk to and all the staff make you feel welcome and made it easy to settle in. It was a pleasure meeting the staff and getting to know them can't fault them at all
