On Sunday when I checked out on Sunday 6th July forget my phone ( Samsung Z Fold 4 in the room when I reached my destination I called the hotel and told them that I had forgotten my phone. The gentleman that I spoke to claimed that the phone was not there and I asked him to ask the housekeeper and he told me that there was no phone that was brought to the reception. I called on Monday and asked to speak to the manager and u was told that she is not in but promised that she will call me back. Today 8th I called the hotel there was no answer. I tried to track my phone on google and the location had been encrypted. And it shows that my phone was on on Sunday night at 1:14 am. I don’t understand how can the phone disappear in the room without trace. Kindly help me to get my phone back. I was on room 310. My contact is ***********.

Forgot my phone in the room and later I was told the phone was not there. How could my phone disappear like that. The person who was cleaning my room that should be held accountable for my phone ‘s disappearance . I am so heartbroken

Located very close to the centre. Allowed to take my bicycle into the room. Shower good. Tea making facilities in the room. Friendly helpful Receptionist

Great stay and amazing staff, welcoming and helpful, can’t complain on a single thing, room was clean and had actually been hat you need

The double room was not good enough to sleep 2 people. Even after quoting medical reasons, the staff did not changed our rooms or provided an additional single bed in the room. In the end, we had to purchase an inflatable single bed to allow us to stay for 4 nights in the same room. I would say it's high time they should look into customer service. No empathy for the customers, very bad experience during our stay at Travelodge, London Road, Newbury.

Okay for a couple of nights - room clean and bed comfortable. The shower leaked so dripped all night and the other guests were pretty loud and going out for frequent smoke breaks.

Had a wonderful stay at Travelodge Newbury London Road. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a short trip. Also the location is great as it’s right next to town. Huge shoutout to Natasha at reception—her customer service was outstanding and so friendly!

The staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful, USB A and C by the bed highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Newbury. Good location with a very efficient elevator........................................

I’m currently on a grueling six week long tour through the UK/EU with my band from the US, and this is nicest hotel with the kindest staff we’ve encountered this whole time! So grateful for a clean room with VERY comfortable beds, a hot shower with plenty of towels, and the chance for some proper rest and recuperation. Definitely will be returning on the next tour :)
