We absolutely love staying here, so relaxing in the countryside. The owners are lovely people and work so hard to make the stay a wonderful experience. The rooms are large and furnished appropriately for a building of this age. The breakfast is exceptionally good and plentiful. Looking forward to our next visit in November.

I need only one word: Super! Karolyn and Chris are the perfect hosts. This short notice tells the whole review........ Nothing is too much. Comfortable room and beds, super breakfast and lounge and honesty bar. It is a hideaway and you only need a proper route discription.

We were made to feel welcome from the start to the end of our three night stay. Our bed was so comfortable, it was a welcome return after a busy day exploring Aberdeenshire. The ensuite facilities were very spacious. Room included small fridge, microwave, TV, electric blanket, armchairs and hospitality tray. Loved the drawing room with the open fire where we sat and played games. Breakfast was outstanding, the choices were amazing and set you up for the day. We didn't like saying goodbye, even Gracie our Jackadoodle enjoyed herself and was made to feel at home.

An amazing stay at Disblair House. We had the best welcome from Buddy & Seeka. Four poster bed and roll top bath, bathrobes and chocolates on arrival. Chris & Kaz are the best hosts ever, they go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. And as for the breakfast….wow !!!!! The best we’ve ever had. Olde World charm, can’t wait to come again.

Spent a lovely few days here as a family. Karolyn & Chris were the perfect hosts in their lovely period home & the breakfasts were delicious. The location is a short drive from Aberdeen Airport and a great base for exploring NE Scotland’s stunning coastline, the Cairngorms etc.

Chris and Karolyn made us very welcome as did their dogs. Chris very kindly helped us out of a serious difficulty with the hiring of a car at Aberdeen airport. For which we are very grateful. We stayed for our first and last nights of our 11 day visit to North East Scotland and were content. We were given the family room in which there is a four poster bed and a single bed. The adjacent ensuite bathroom is large and everything functions. There is a honesty bar in the lounge off the entrance of which we duly availed ourselves . On special request, Karolyn served us an excellent dinner. The breakfast is comprehensive and of very good quality. If you are looking for somewhere out in the country for B&B, this is the place a 15 to 20 minute drive from Aberdeen Airport.

Would highly recommend. Karolyn and Chris are very welcoming and so friendly. Breakfast was incredible with fantastic variety of breakfasts food available. Our room was very cosy and peaceful. Very dog friendly. We didn’t want to leave.
