Best Western Wakefield Hotel St Pierre recensioner

This stay was hindered by the lift being out of order for the 4 days we were there. The room was spotless as usual, we had a room at the rear of the hotel which suited us better it was quieter. There was quite a few inconsiderate guests this visit, it is Christmas so we expected some party goers but noisy good-night and plans made to meet for breakfast from 12.30 through to 4am stopped any hope of sleep. The other three nights were fine as usual. There was also an issue parking due to a Christmas party. Hotel patrons should have priority, perhaps each room having parking allocation would help. We will be staying again in the not to distant future as the location is ideal for us.

Back again for another nights stay. Choose this hotel again as it was just what we needed last time Great customer service on the reception

Vert friendly welcome, the reception area was spotlessly clean. Our room was ready, it was also spotlessly clean and everything I required was at hand. We had a blocked sink on our 2nd day, it was all sorted by the time we returned to our room. The hotel decor is a little dated but that was no matter. We will definitely stay again.

Stayed here before for a special occasion. Room was great. Same again. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Happy friendly staff. Good ameneties close by. Family friendly as well.

great room for the price

Very comfortable room with excellent facilities at a very reasonable price. Everything i needed was provided in the room. Unfortunately there was no food service on the evening i stayed bit i was notified well in advance and it wasnt a problem. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - I wish I had stayed longer!

A warm welcome. Room was lovely clean, and the bed was so comfortable I just didn’t want to get out of it! It will always be our first choice in the future. I thought £25 for the dog for one night was a bit expensive as most hotels charge £10. Per night.

Very good hotel nice relaxing atmosphere and great polite staff …would definitely recommend loads to do in the area pubs , walks , restaurants….but you can eat at the hotel and a good bar area good relax seating areas for food and drinks so yes definitely recommend….

Great hotel. Situated in walking distance to some lovely restaurants and wine bars . The rooms are of good decoration and the beds are Very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Drinks are at very reasonable prices. Would stay again.

The room was absolutely fine - I was looking for a night’s comfort and quiet and that’s what I found! Thank you to the helpful staff. In the morning I took a lovely stroll around the local dam and went to the Boathouse cafe for a coffee which I really enjoyed.

The place is a dump and needs refurbishment to a higher standard , the local tramp enjoyed his stay and free food. The staff were very polite but really running a hotel is not their forte, it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed at and not value for money. Avoid this hotel if you can.

What and utter disappointment, what used to be many years ago one of the best hotels in the area, has now turned into a social services dumping ground and an illegal migrant doss house. The shock and realisation of what a mistake we made stopping at this hotel, too late we were stuck there, homeless bearded unkempt tramp holding court at breakfast time. Food average staff lovely but they realise what they are running. To be fair the rooms are OK and clean but really low quality linen, nylon bed sheets YUK Sad to say we will never be staying here ever again, a real utter shame STEER WELL CLEAR -

The room was big and clean , bed was large and comfy , bathroom was also clean. I was greeted with a friendly welcome on arrival, staff was also friendly, carpark was big. Didn't try the food but sat in bar and was I saw come come out looked nice will be back.
