The Trott House Inn

This home is so beautiful. It is maintained impeccably. No detail left out. From the furnishings to the bedding, everything is very lovely and spotlessly clean. The room was very clean and spacious. No refrigerator in the room made it hard to keep my insulin cold but we made it work with the ice packs we had. Would have liked to have met the owners at some point. Everything was self serve and the ice machine was down for most of our stay for cleaning. Otherwise we had a very nice stay!

This was our first time here and this place is amazing. We love the keyless entry option to the house itself so we could come and go easily. I love quaint and historical homes like these. The owners went above and beyond to think of every little detail to make the stay outstanding including blankets for sitting out on the patio or by the fire pit. Snacks galore, Nepresso coffee maker and pods, bagels, delicious quiche, juices and so much more. Just a wonderful self serve continental breakfast. Our bed was so comfortable and really nice sheets. Bathroom in your room……so nice. I love all the antiques that made this place so special. We were able to talk to Mackenzie this morning and the passion they have for what they do. They have a gorgeous porch with a swing, beautiful patio and fire pit area which we used. Easy walk to downtown. We ate at the Vintage House in Hickory and then went to No Entry which was close by………..A very unique place if you want amazing drinks. We will definitely be back to the Trott House.
