Great hotel very clean, lovely bedroom , fantastic food , very friendly , decor very nice. Incredibly helpful Very nice location. Lovely small hotel, proprietors really nice couple, so very helpful could not do enough for me. Everything was perfect. Can’t wait to return

This lovely, family run hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the area, with easy access to main routes. A very friendly & welcoming reception was given when we arrived. There is car parking right outside & easy walk around the village with a number of activities & shops. As confirmed at booking & via email check in is from 3pm - outside of these times, access can be made as a guest with a front door key code. Our room was a king bed - the room was spacious, well decorated & the bed was super comfy with great duvet & pillows. Tea/coffee facilities are provided with biscuits & bottled water. There is a flat screen TV & free WiFi. The bathroom was spacious, with large fluffy towels. Soap gel was provided for the basin & shower - which was the best shower we had during our trip to Scotland. Breakfast had a great choice of cold cereal, fruit, cheese & juice. Excellent hot Scottish breakfast with all the 'works' & was huge. We are in the bar area for the 2 nights we stayed & it had a nice atmosphere. The food was excellent (super tasty) & despite limited staff (which was explained) the team ensured guests were served in order & our food arrived in a timely manner. All the staff worked hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable - thank you to the Glen & definitely recommend it

Stayed at the Glen for 3 nights while on a work event in Newtonmore. Rooms were clean and well appointed, with a comfortable armchair - uncommon & much appreciated. We ate in the hotel each night, as the food was excellent - tasty, homemade & good sized portions. Breakfast was also made from good quality ingredients, and portions were again good sized.

The hotel was well furnished and room comfy, food ok and breakfast to a good standard. I didn’t enjoy the vocal and intimidating staff training whilst trying to eat my evening meal. Not a relaxed environment. The staff perform like they are acting out a script and not natural.

What a great Hotel. Stayed for 2 nights with our 1 y/o granddaughter and had a relaxing stay. The room was superb with comfy beds and they even set up the cot with bright and colourful blankets for the wee one. Food was amazing especially the breakfasts.The staff were friendly and helpful to every request we had. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to everyone. Thanks

I stayed here with my wife and two friends after completing the Speyside Way. I can't praise the staff enough for making our brief stay memorable. We enjoyed a bit of banter with the locals over a couple of drinks from the well stocked bar on arrival. Dinner was excellent, the selection of desserts being a particular plus point for our group. We'd enquired about watching Scotland v Germany which they were able to accommodate. Also, although the bar closed about 10pm, the staff let us use the dining room (complete with heater) for our nightly game of dominoes. The rooms were all comfy, clean and well appointed. The shower was warm and powerful - not always the case in rural locations. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of continental and cooked options. Finally, our host informed us that we could get an earlier train home from Kingussie, and he was able to drop us off at the station as he was headed that way. This saved us about 3 hours of time, waiting around. Service above and beyond! Highly recommended.
