Muri Beachcomber

We had an amazing stay in a Seaview Unit, just 20 steps to the beach/lagoon and with the most beautiful views to wake up to, and the sound of the sea to sleep to. The Unit itself was self-contained, air-conditioned, comfortable and relaxing, with the use of a veranda, BBQ and sunbeds just outside the door. The location is perfect - beach activities (free use of snorkels, kayaks, SUPs) or just sit and sunbake on the beach deck; stroll along the beach to other clubs/restaurants nearby; walk or ride (free bike hire) or drive or catch the bus roadside to other eateries or bars; or stroll next door to the night markets when they are on. The stay included seamless airport transfers (one less thing to organise ourselves) and free use of the washing machine (thank you, much appreciated). The reception staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. All-in-all an relaxing memorable holiday in a slice of paradise.

We arrived at the Muri beachcomber and discovered a wonderful sea view and garden area right outside our apartment. Everything was thought through as there was even a laundry room a pétanque area and a lounge with an honesty bar stocked with wine and beer for the Sunday non licensed part of the day. They also give you a code for the WiFi which lasts for a week. The loungers on decking overlook the beach and are relaxing to use or read a book. It was lovely to chat to our fellow neighbours as well. There is a night market next door, many cafes and hotel restaurants on the island to choose from. The apartment is clean simple but relaxing with a lovely radio to listen in to the Cook island news and music and the air conditioning is very welcome. They decorated with lovely flowers which really give a nice perfume to the room. Comfy bed and for breakfast you had toast and cereal dropped off. All the staff were excellent and it made for a fantastic and very memorable experience to be in such a beautiful part of the world having travelled such a long way from the UK.

Absolute BEST location. Lagoon tours, night paddle boarding, night food markets are all literally next door. Beautiful property with amazing deck in the heart of the action at Muri Beach. Loved our stay. Older rooms, but very clean with everything we needed and helpful, lovely staff. We swam with turtles right out the front!

Centrally located villas beachfront. Shelley & team so friendly always happy to help . Villas perfect clean, tidy spacious just what you needed. Canoes, SUP boards snorkeling gear a provided. Great cafes across the road & night food markets next door . Totally recommend it. #muribrachcomber #littlepieceofparadise

We loved the Beachcomber for its location, beautiful beach and fabulous staff. The manager, admin, cleaning and maintenance people made our stay amazing. Everyone was friendly, happy and efficient. Would definitely stay there again..

Great stay here! We booked rather last-minute and originally were looking for something with more amenities but most places were sold out. A last minute cancellation here had us booking and turned out to be excellent! Obviously a great location with lots nearby, including a bus stop, nice rooms, housekeeping was extremely thorough. Would be nice to have more internet allotment, but the guest lounge computer use was sufficient. So happy for the honesty bar on a Sunday it was storming, which didn't even inflate prices, even though they very well could! Never thought I'd say this on vacation, but the huge DVD collection that day saved us too haha. Limited front desk hours but everyone was very helpful and friendly. No complaints or issues, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Muri Beachcomber. Fabulous location and our rooms were perfect. Everything we needed for our four nights. The friendly staff were very helpful and our rooms were serviced each day. The bed was comfy and the view was special! The paddle boards and kayaks were an added bonus. The deck at the top of the stairs gives you an incredible view right down the gorgeous beach. Absolute Paradise. Walking distance to the local shops and night markets and there’s a great tapas bar right across the road and it’s BYO. Wish we had more time to enjoy the stunning location. We will be back and stay longer next time! 🥥 🌴

Loved our unit with the beach right out our door. Everything u want is right next to you including night market and boat tours, snorkelling and canoeing this place is a dream. Pool on site, cafe across road. Scooter hire next door. We will be back . Thanku for our fantastic holiday well relaxed didn’t want to come home.

Each day offers a new opportunity to savor these experiences. Breakfast is provided, featuring an additíonal delightful bacon and egg pack. Additionally, there is a shop conveniently located at the end of the drive, along with several dining options just a minute or two away. The nearby night market is perfect for an evening meal, enhancing our overall experience. The exceptional service from the reception staff and their unwavering support contributed significantly to our enjoyable stay. There were no issues whatsoever; it was genuinely a wonderful place to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the world around us.
