Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

酒店設施完善，房間風景很好，可以看星空和日出，俯瞰整個火山口。酒店有年頭了，淋浴間不穿拖鞋的話有點滑。睡了一晚身上有兩三處很癢的包，不確定是床上有小蟲還是在外面被什麼蟲子咬了。餐品口味還不錯，但如果選擇打包的午餐盒就不要有太高期待了。

This lodge is one of the very few places you can stay on the Crater rim with views of the Crater and easy access. I had heard from many others that did not book far enough in advance and had to stay 1-2 hours away. Book in advance! The hotel is unique with rooms built into the stone and all the stone walk ways. It felt like I was in a castle. Every room has a Crater view. It always smells of camp fire and I love that scent. They place heated bags in your beds at night which I loved, but the room is enclosed so it is not too cold. It does get chilly at night outdoors though. Breakfast and dinner was buffet style with a wide range of options. I wish drinks were included - They were a separate change. Great stay here!

Serena Safari Lodge was a beautiful setting with amazing views of the crater. Sunrise was stunning from our balcony. We were in room 6 on a lower level and it would be nicer to be higher up for the view. The property buildings are beautiful with their artwork and stone construction. The dining area and bar area were decorated beautifully. It was very nice sitting in the bar enjoying the view. In our room the bed was comfortable. There were only 2 plugs in our room, one international plug, the other Type G. Luckily I brought an adapter, this was the only place we needed it so we could both charge phone/ batteries. The wifi did not reach to our room or our friends room #8, although we were told it would. Meals were good with good variety. The lodge has 75 rooms and so is much busier than any other accomodations on safari. We preferred the smaller places. The staff were busy so they could not offer the warm personalized interactions as we had previously. On arrival we were greeted by a band playing. We saw Maasai dancing that was interesting. There were Maasai selling an interesting variety of items.
