Chi-Bu Riverside Resort

A magical place to spend the weekend. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was pure heaven. Super confortable bed and a million dollar view waking up and opening the curtains and seeing the river 10 meters away. Great breakfast with huge pancakes banana and syrup was a great way to start the day. We took paddle boards down the river and back up agin for a much needed lunch. I would highly recomend Chi Bu. 55 mins in a taxi from Thao Dien and only 260,000 vnd.

I was a bit disappointed after my stay at Chi-Bu. This hotel could be the perfect staycation when you go and return, and share with your friends and come back with them. But unfortunately not. The room was really nice, direct access to the river. Comfortable, with a nice bathroom. And the surroundings are lovely, we enjoyed taking the kayak and go on the river. The food was good, and authentic, both for the diner and the breakfast. But there is not much to do, if you don't have a bike you are blocked here, nothing to do by walking distance, and very sad that there is no bicycles to visit nearby. So after only one night you have nothing to do. Also the return back to Saigon was painful. No taxi, no grab, nothing. We had to wait many hours to finally have an overcharged taxi introduced by the hotel. And while we were waiting and waiting, the team was not really helpful and not very supportive. The service is OK but very inconsistent with super friendly people and super cold people, that brings a weird feeling. I think this hotel should review their prices, it's clearly too expensive for the experience. I could come back for half of the price, otherwise it doesn't worth it, and that a bit sad to say.
