This is an excellent location in close proximity to the airport and Eglin. The entire staff (front desk team, cleaning staff, maintenance, and food service attendants) were are friendly, professional, and there to help when needed. The rooms were clean and quiet. Gym is spacious and clean - has everything you need! The parking lot is spacious, well lit, and safe.

This hotel has all the comforts you could want for an extended stay. A large bathroom, refrigerator, freezer, stove top, outdoor grills, pool, fitness center, pet station, filtered water bottle station, and laundry. The room is so very thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage for clean & dirty clothes, a pull out couch a laptop table, night light, a pull out desk & chair. I stayed here with pets for a hurricane evacuation and i would absolutely stay here again!

Managers and staff members have changed since this hotel first opened four years ago, but I have always enjoyed my stay here--and so has my dog, Sadiq--and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when I come to the Ft Walton/Destin area. I've never left a negative review in four years (12 trips of a week or more) and have nothing to pass along but praise for this outstanding hotel and the family of professionals who keep it running. From my last visit in September 2024, I'd like to pass along special kudos to Laurance, Sheldon, Hannah, Eric, Jackie, Dameon, and Grant. They all recognized me from my previous visit--almost a year earlier--and couldn't do more to make me happy! The accommodations were excellent: Comfortable bed, adequate desk space and wifi speed, bathroom adequate and kept clean, well appointed fitness area, and excellent pool and grilling area for meeting people/entertainment. A special thanks to Eric and the clean-up crew he leads for always checking my room to make sure me and my dog had what we needed throughout our stay. Since COVID, many other hotels have reduced support and I was lucky to get a service once a week--at other places. Not here! At Townplace Suites in Niceville, they checked on me and my pup daily and Eric and his team freshened the room (new towels, toiletries, removed trash) and kept the place clean as a whistle throughout my stay--and everything with a very positive attitude! The complimentary breakfast is so much better than other hotels who pretend offerings in the morning. The staff I met here (Hanna and Grant specifically) really showed they cared that we enjoyed the spread they put out and I could tell they take pride in doing a good job and offering something good for patrons to eat. Lastly, a special call out to Jackie for showing such genuine affection for my dog. "Dog friendly" is a real benefit for travelers, but all the staff here (and Jackie in particular) love our pets and really made us feel welcome!

Pretty good place, very friendly front desk staff and good breakfast. The negative was the housekeeping. They only clean every other day and when they do, they don’t consistently clean the bathroom. I stayed there twice and in neither visit did they clean the shower. It didn’t look that clean on check in and definitely needed attention after 3 days. They sometimes cleaned the toilet and sometimes not. They also threw away some things they shouldn’t have.

Good size rooms. 130 and 131 are at the end of the building and seem significantly larger than a standard room. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was adequate. Coffee was weak but not as bad as Hampton coffee. We requested rooms close to each other and were accomodated even though we arrived after 9 pm.

Horrible management (Andy Patel). I reserved 2 rooms (3 nights each) for family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. My father had an emergency which required him to checkout 1 day early. Andy said they would charge an early checkout fee of 1 night stay even for emergencies. I asked if he could transfer that penalty night charge to the other room I had and our guests will stay an extra day. He said “no”. I am a loyal Marriott Titanium member and frequently stay all over the world. This was extremely unreasonable.

The facility and room was clean.The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. They let me check in early because they had rooms available. The breakfast was really good. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great experience from check in to check out. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pillows were also comfortable and I rarely experience that in a hotel. Very, very clean, even smelled clean. The only negative was the price. But it was worth it.
