Hotel Montfort Nicolet

Staff was nice . Especially Gabrielle and Joe-Annie . Food was ok. Room was nice. Main hotel is very nice like the "chapelle". Very fun to explore , unique building ! We would go back! Bikes, canoes kayaks are available at no charge. Thumbs up!

Wonderful stay in Nicolet, just a short drive from Trois Rivieres. Allergy-friendly (unscented bedding) and an overall relaxing and delightful getaway. So much offered that we didn't even get to try, but the spa area, cafe, rooftop jacuzzi, and restaurant were all amazing.

Been staying there for 6+years. Service and furnishings have gone down hill. Checked in last weekend, got our cart full of stuff up to our 4th floor kitchenette full size room to find out they had the windows wide open with one lil fan. NO AC! And on the top floor in a hot, stuffy room. They didn't bother to mention that prior to check in. So down we go to the front desk. No apologies. No refunds. They put us in a different room the next day but it was a downgrade and still no refund. How can they do that? We had a terrible time with no AC. We had to go buy two fans at Canadian Tire. Having a year old baby in the mix didn't help either. And with no apologies, not once. The next day, they moved our luggage, they "misplaced" my hair straightener. They couldn't give me an answer as to where it would have went. I again, had to go buy one at Jean Coutu. Right before we checked out, my husband asked the front desk again if they have it, they did! But why didn't they bother to let us know that the day before??? I don't understand their customer service. Very disappointing especially since we have been guests of Hotel Monfort for so long. We will not be staying again. Holiday Inn in Trois rivieres is worth the extra drive.

Hotel was excellent. Very clean, very modern, great attention to detail throughout. Room gleamed. Bed extremely comfortable, Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and it too was outstanding. Loved how there were no plastic cups in the bathroom.

I had called the hotel to see if I had forgotten anything after check out, the front desk confirmed that the cleaning ladies did indeed find 3 of my belongings, my wallet, a bag and a pillow. According to their notes from the prior receptionist, she said that somebody had came and picked up my wallet and the bag without my knowledge or consent!! And that only my pillow is the only thing at the front desk. I went in person to find out who they gave my personal belongings too as nobody came forward to tell me they picked up my belongings at check out. I demanded to look at the cameras to determine who they gave my wallet too, the receptionist said she couldn’t do anything as the hotel manger and the owner of the building are on holiday! Then the receptionist went and called the SQ, they proceeded the incident. Not long after they came, the SQ received a call that my wallet had shown up at a gas station 10 mins down the road. Very scketchy hotel!! If I hadn’t given up on finding out who they handed my wallet and bag too without my knowledge, I would’ve lost all my children’s and I personal IDs alongside with my cards and visas! Seems suspicious that once the SQ came, my wallet appears at a gas station in Nicolet!!

This hotel was indeed a pleasant surprise. The outside of the building is beautiful. The fountain is lovely looking indeed. Good parking too. Check-in was a bit of a wait as the front desk clerk was on the phone, no worries there. Our 2 rooms were just gorgeous from the moment you walked in the room. Spacious, immaculate, well stocked, visually very appealing. Now having said that, God help you if you get the same room we did. Whoever designed the bathroom needs their head examined. There is a massive pillar when you walk in. The door to the bathroom only opens halfway because the toilet faces the mirror. It should have faced the bathtub. You have to squeeze into the bathroom every single time you enter, you have to twist yourself around to reach the toilet, and close the door. It is the stupidest bathroom I've ever encountered. If you were sitting on the toilet, and someone opened the door, you'd get slammed in the face. The beautiful tub has no safety bars on the walls, the bottom of the tub is incredibly slippery, and there's nothing to grab onto. Dangerous. Fix it. The height of the tub is going to be an issue for many people, getting in and out. And again, nothing to grab onto. Oh, and I can't forget about the lovely fluorescent green light that shines brightly into an otherwise dark room. That's a real treat. I would have said something to the front desk receptionist when we checked out, but alas, she did not ask how our stay was or make conversation in the least. She said bonjour, and we said good morning. Gave us our bills, and said "have a good day." And we were on our way.

The room was very fancy and had a huge bathtub, the bed was quite comfortable. The highlight of stay was the spa which was beautiful it had four hot tubs and one really cold pool that had a water spewing from above into it. It also had a sauna. NOTE: Ask for a lower room if you can't do stairs as there is no elevator in some parts of the hotel

I’m so thrilled with my stumble upon Montfort. The history of the magnificent building was what first awestruck us. It’s just breathtaking. Everything exceeded my expectations. Everything was so clean, the staff were genuine, welcoming, and accommodating (everyone seemed very happy). We don’t speak much French but communication was never a problem. The amenities like the giant rooftop hot tub, REAL breakfast, and the spa included in your stay absolutely blew me away. I could go on about the spa for days; clean, spacious, luxurious. I couldn’t believe I was paying the same for this absolutely perfect hotel stay as I did for any of the other hotels on our trip. Affordable. Comfortable. Outstanding!!

L'hôtel Montfort fait partie des artisans hôteliers Ôrigine. L'établissement propose 83 chambres situées dans l'ancien monastère ou dans le nouveau pavillon. Nous retrouvons plusieurs catégories de chambre, des lofts et des suites. Les chambres situées dans le nouveau pavillon possèdent un balcon ou une terrasse. Plusieurs forfaits et promotions ont cours selon la saison. L'hôtel possède un restaurant bistronomique où nous pouvons y prendre les 3 repas. Vérifiez leur site web selon la saison et les journées où vous y allez. En saison, nous avons accès à la terrasse située sur le toit et au bain à remous. Cependant, nous avons accès à la piscine et au bain à remous intérieur à l'année. L'hôtel possède également un foyer extérieur 4 saisons et des sentiers pédestres. Nous pouvons également avoir accès à plusieurs activités ($): vélos, pédalos, paddle board, canot, kayak... L'établissement offre également un SPA thermique, une piscine nordique, un sauna et de la massothérapie ($). L'hôtel dispose d'un Centre des Congrès, la location de salles pour des évènements privés et des mariages. Le complexe hôtelier est situé à quelques pas de la rivière Nicolet et de la Halte Josaphat-Duhaime. Les villes de Nicolet et de Bécancour offrent plusieurs activités dont le Parc écomaritime de l'Anse du Port, le Centre de la Biodiversité du Québec, le Musée des Cultures du Monde et plusieurs activités plein air. Notre chambre Nous y sommes demeurés deux nuits au début du mois d'août. Nous avions une chambre Oasis- côté Jardin avec terrasse. Celle-ci est située dans la section du Pavillon. Quel beau Pavillon! Chambre: 2 lits Queen avec une literie de qualité, salle de bain avec baignoire profonde (douche), table de travail avec chaise ergonomique, petit réfrigérateur, machine à café Nespresso, climatiseur, foyer d'ambiance électrique, téléviseur ACL 40 pouces avec câble, plancher de bois stratifié, terrasse extérieure avec une table et 2 chaises. Lors de la réservation, un dépôt de 100.00$ est exigé. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel. L'endroit est propre, calme et nous avons reçu un très bel accueil. De plus, l'hôtel est situé près de plusieurs activités. Vous aurez l'embarras du choix pour les activités que ce soient à Nicolet, Bécancour ou Trois-Rivières.
