Yutorelo Nikko

Enjoyable stay at yutorelo nikko, which was conveniently located near lake chuzenji. Room was big and had a nice view of the lake. Hotel onsen was very legit and nice especially when the night was cold. There is free sake and alcohol in the lounge. Breakfast was a delicious set meal with drinks available. Hotel is walkable distance to kegon falls. Would recommend :)

Tranquil place by the mountain lake. Very peaceful place. Hotel is very clean and essential amenities are provided.

The capsules are very noisy and the hostel itself wasn’t too great. The Onsen is nice but I have seen better ones. However the view to the lake was amazing and I really enjoyed it

The bunk bed was so large compare to average bed size with comfy and clean blanket and sheet. There is personal locker with key, lamp, charge station, body and face towel, slipper, and free flow kimono and amenities. The soap, shampoo, body lotion, and face wash are provided. I think it is super fantastic compared to the cheap price. We can use public onsen (male and females are in different rooms so it is so convenient). From 15.00-22.00, in the Lake-View Lounge, we can drink and eat snacks for free: all kinds of alcohol, various soft drinks machines, coffee machines, beer, ice, tea, etc. So fantastic!!!!! There are library and game corners as well. This hotel is just across the Chuzenji Lake, 900m from Kegon lake. There is one and only convenient store (10mins by walk from hotel) which is open 08.00-20.00. Even though there are view restaurants nearby, however, you must be aware that food here is quite difficult to access. Restaurants mostly close as early as 3 or 4 pm. I will definitely come here again.

Many things were great about this hotel - I stayed in the dorm for 10 nights and you're basically getting hotel level service and amenities for dorm price, very value for money. New towels provided everyday, library and lounge were great (free alcohol and snacks, plus lovely hammocks and view of the lake), onsen was a good size with indoor and outdoor pools. The one thing I didn't like was the material they used to construct the dorm capsules - thin wood that was very hollow, resulting in a deafening amplification of sound whenever your neighbours moved around you. If you're a light sleeper you might want to reconsider. But otherwise, it was awesome, I would go back again!

The lake is just across the road. New facilities. The wood in my dormitory room create some noise as it is kind of capsule hotel. There is a code provided but the door is unlocked so security is no good.  This will bother otherswhen I move. The lounge provides several kinds of beverages including alcohol. Large common space. Next time I will try the private room.
