The Corner Properties

My wife and I had landed at Nantes airport but our luggage had not so we were very stressed on arrival! However, we were collected from there by Raphael who whisked us to Noirmoutier and the Corner in no time, and we really enjoyed a chat and a laugh en route. We cannot recommend the Corner highly enough in terms of the quality and standards of the accommodation, the food, and our hosts Raphael and Diane. The accommodation and dining which they provide is second to none and the use of the complementary bikes meant getting around the island was so easy. Raphael is an accomplished chef and his food was superb, not only for dinner, but also for the amazing breakfasts we had. Diane was also a fantastic host - coming to sit and chat outside with a couple of glasses of wine. It definitely is more like staying in someone's beautiful home than an impersonal hotel. We would love to come back soon to see everyone, including Sidney the dog! Thanks Raphael and Diane for a fantastic stay - we will be back (hopefully with our luggage next time!)

We stayed here for a week and it was beautiful . The house is serene and calming. We both found we relaxed within minutes of arriving. There is just something very special about this place. I would like to keep it a secret really ! However we would not hesitate to recommend it. The bikes included with the room are a bonus and we explored all parts of Noirmoutier, many beaches, 'markets' and restaurants. The local restaurants were very nice but by far the best chef on the island was Raphael, his food was outstanding and he was very flexible with the menu. If you stay at the Corner you must eat in, you will not be disappointed. Diane and Raphael the owners are just the nicest people. We cant wait to return ! Helen and Rick

We stayed for 1 night on 30/3/22 and had a fabulous time. From the moment you enter the characterful and lovingly restored building, you are made to feel very welcome. Rafael and Diane are fantastic hosts, down to earth, relaxed and warm. The bedroom was stylish, airy, bright and spotlessly clean. The dining room is beautiful and really cosy, they had a fire lighting when we went in. Rafael prepared a delicious, fresh, well presented meal for us, washed down with an excellent Pinot Gris which was suggested by Diane. We've stayed at many places in France and the rest of Europe and this is right up there and deservedly so. So book here if you're planning on coming to the island. The only negative, we only stayed one night. Robert & Sarah.

SUPERBE SEJOUR grâce à Diane et Raphael. Leur acceuil est tout simplement exceptionnel. Cette maison d'hôte est magniquement décorée avec gouts. Diane a le don de mettre en valeur cette ancienne bâtisse. La chambre etait très jolie, TRES PROPRE. La literie impeccable. Nous avons diner à 2 reprises le soir et après nos visites, nous étions juste pressés de rentrer pour diner (Raphael concote d'excellents plats) et pour profiter de ce salon si cosy. Les vélos mis à disposition est un luxe: pas besoin de chercher un loueur et de rendre à une heure précise le soir après une balade les vélos. La maison est située à moins de 10mn en vélo du bois de la chaise et à 2mn de la plage. Un bonheur Nous voyageons régulièrement et cette adresse est tout simplement une adresse précieuse! Nous reviendrons très vite et nous comptons offrir pour Noel à nos parents un joli WE chez eux. Merci Diane et Raphaël pour ce séjour. Famille Maisonneuve

Nous avons passé un super week-end chez Diane et Raphaël. L'accueil est très chaleureux. La chambre était magnifique avec une super literie. Nous avons également profité d'une temps agréable dans le sauna et d'un massage très très agréable par Joëlle! Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux. Nous avons également pu faire une longue et belle balade à Noirmoutier grâce aux vélos que Diane nous a prêtés. Encore un grand merci

Super chambres d'hôtes. Accueil au top de la part de Raphaël et Diane. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable avec des produits frais. Situé en plein centre avec un parking sécurisé. prêt de vélo. La chambre est grande. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors d'un prochain séjour.
