Skippers Cove Waterfront Resort

Disappointing. The bed was rock hard, the pillows pathetic, the bathrooms in desperate need of a revamp and not cleaned properly. We would have expected shower gel and face washers, but neither of these were provided. A big disappointment due to the prices being charged. We would not come back, nor recommend to friends. As you can see from the photos, the place was filthy. We stayed in apartment number 2

A year late (remembered as we are booking here again!) but wanted to share our experience. James & Leanne are so accommodating and helpful! We stayed in late March 2022 for 5 nights in a beachfront 3 bedroom (ground floor - the only way to go!) - it was AMAZING! The views, the direct beach access (so fab for kids, as we could sit on the deck and relax while they played), free kayaks, pool (x2), location, everything! The apartment itself is huge and had absolutely everything we could want or need for an extended stay! I did a LOT of research before staying here, I knew I wanted absolute beachfront in this area, and the other places I looked at didn't compare (many didn't even have aircon!). My partner also surprised the kid and walked into Noosaville, hired a boat for a few hours and drove the boat to the dock out the front of our place to collect us :) My daughter still talks about it (and the friend she made in the other waterfront apartment) and we have just booked here again for easter holidays - do it, you will not regret it!

Great location. Clean, tidy 2 bedroom pool view apartment. Easy access to the beach and short walk to Gympie terrace for restaurants and cafes. Free buses during summer to Hastings st restaurants. Facilities are good, from the pool, spa and bbq

This was a great find for our family of 5. Fabulous view from our 2nd floor room. We initially enquired about a lower room to be right on the waterfront but none were available, we were more than happy with the 2nd story though. Pool was lovely, we were there late April and it was still warm enough to swim. We used the kayaks several times and explored around the safe waterway. If there was any constructive criticism it would be that the couch in the lounge (Rm 12) is terribly uncomfortable to sit on! Hopefully this is in the plans to get a new one.

We really enjoyed our stay at Skippers Cove. The location was great on Noosa River, beautiful and peaceful whilst being close to Hastings Street. We did not have a car during our stay, but made use of the free weekend Noosa bus as the bus stop was only a few minutes walk from the property. The 2 bedroom apartment was huge with beautiful waterfront views! We would definitely recommend choosing a waterfront apartment. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need and more, which made our short stay hassle free. The owners were excellent, giving you the right balance of space whilst also attentive and friendly. On our last morning James went above and beyond, offering to take us to Noosa bus station when we were unable to get a taxi. This shows the personal attention they give every guest and high quality service offered. Thank you again for a fantastic stay!
