I had a nice stay, but as someone else wrote, some hiccups. Pros: Clean, quiet. Seems to be recently renovated. It was the first hotel I've stayed at that had the dreaded sliding barn door, but not as a bathroom door, it separated the room from the bathroom and entrance to the room, making it much quieter. Issues: My room was freezing when I checked in and the thermostat on the wall did nothing (same thermostat that worked great in 3 other IHG hotels this month! so I know how to work it). Turns out they put in new wall units and you have to open a panel on the unit. Maybe TELL guests that? or at least put up a sign that the thermostat is inoperable? Two light switches did not work. Super cool lights (meaning like 5000K as in the light temperature). They should switch to slightly warmer bulbs. Then at 2am I saw bright flashing in the room (at first I literally thought my retinas were detaching!) Then I thought there was some emergency, but no alarms going off. It was like a camera flash. Turns out it was the green light flashing (like REALLY flashing brightly) on the new smoke alarm. Front desk said to put paper on it. I tried a tissue, didn't work, so I put a band-aid on the light and that worked. They need to put a semi opaque sticker over that. I could literally still see it in the dark with my eyes closed! Even when facing the other way! I was told I was not the first to complain about it. Breakfast was worth the money (i.e. free. it was just ok, but better than nothing).
