It was a last minute decision to book a short break in Devon and we found the north Devon resort online. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and went to our accommodation. We were very impressed how clean the apartment was, and even more impressed by the comfort of the bed. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and we loved the food they had to offer, including the steaks on the night and an amazing Sunday lunch carvery. We enjoyed a family swim in the pool, and a relaxing time in the sauna. We would recommend and would definitely stay again if we visit Devon. Thanks to the staff for making our stay welcoming and comfortable.

Comfortable beds, clean and tidy rooms, everything you need in the kitchen area, all working fine, central heating , nice pool, great soft play area, very good food , great atmosphere and super entertainment, very friendly staff , overall very happy, recommend for families.

Wouldn’t recommend this place or ever think about coming back. For starters the “resort” is a 45mins drive away from the accommodation. The accommodation is absolute filth. The apartments stink, very clear they have not been cleaned in a long time. Not suitable for if you have allergies as the dust and spider webs will make it worse. Visible mould in various places. Stains in several places including bedsheets , covers , sofas , dining table. Visible dirt and rubbish on carpet. It is very clear that there’s no housekeeping arrangements. Lack of basic amenities within the apartments and very basic ,out fashioned setting. Won’t be coming back here and we were so unhappy with the stay we wanted to leave asap. Wish I had taken pics to show feedback but I was too busy disinfecting the place for the first 2 hours. Absolutely disgusting. A real shame and huge disappointment. Only one swimming pool onsite which was always very busy. Only good thing was the cafe on site but still quite limited. I’ve seen similar experiences while I stayed there and also on trip advisor. Will be asking for a full refund.

Overall a lovely stay, the accommodation was comfy and warm. Although there wasn't a door catch on the main bedroom, so the door was open all the time. Lots of things in the apartment, such as dishwasher and tablets, tea towel, washing up liquid, soap and shower gel etc. The restaurant was very good, clean and tidy and food was excellent. Bar prices weren't too bad either, which was surprising! We would stay there again as it's a good base to explore Devon.
